Breakfast was good. Location was okay

Bed was small. Room was cramped. Bathroom was not private. No air conditioning

Sue's house is located 5 minutes walk away from Oistins' fish market and yet, the room was super quiet at night. Sue is a great hostess, she made sure that we had everything we needed and that we felt like a part of her family. I especially loved meeting the various members of her family and having a firsthand feel of life in Barbados.

We rented the 2 rooms that were offered and even after paying, we informed the hostess that we wanted a late check-in. She confirmed. When we arrived we found out that there will be no possibility of late check in because the rooms are booked by other guests. We agreed to this, provided there was somewhere to leave our luggage for a few more hours, and everything was fine so far. When we came home after the beach around 2pm, the hostess didn't even invite us to come inside the house, there was no place to stand outside in front of the house either, and the weather was very hot. He didn't even let us use the toilet because we had already checked out. And so he left us outside, we stood like evicted and it gave us a very unpleasant feeling. We were not even allowed to use the common areas to sit and wait for our transfer. I would not recommend this home even for one night.

Sue is friendly, kind and caring. Her home is welcoming and clean with your room having two fans, your own tv and a very cleaned shared bathroom. Less than 10 minutes to Miami Beach and Oistin's Fish fry (which you must go to!)

Such a lovely room at a local family house. Sue helped us a lot with some stuff and nothing was a problem for her. The room was perfect cosy, clean and quiet. Comfortable bed. Walking distance to the heart of Oistins and busses. Thank you Sue.

We loved staying with Sue and her family. Great place to explore Oistins, reach the airport and easy to take a bus into Bridgetown!

There wasn't anything to not like.

I had a wonderful time here. The house is very clean and Sue and her family are very friendly and welcoming. You can always ask Sue for an advice what to see or how to get to certain places. The Miami Beach is in walking distance (5 to 10 minutes) and the bus station as well. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Very good location, near to the beach, very friendly and helpful host - Sue and her family are so nice people, they make your stay really nice.

on booking there is no marked exact check out time - I learnt when I arrived the check out is until 11 am - I find an info about the check out time on booking misleading.

the location is ideal for easy access to the capital and other attractions the host Sue, was great. very hospitable and goes the extra mile for her guests. I would definitely recommend the home stay to anyone visiting Barbados.

Sue is very welcoming,attentive and really looks out for you! She really aids you in whatever your request may be. She is indeed a gracious host. The Homestay is located not too far from the airport and also in close proximity to various food outlets, which is very ideal. The rooms are spacious and feels very much like home.

Very clean.

A bit noisy (airport is close, barking dogs, main road is not far). A fan is there, but no air con. Not the owner's mistake but Oistins beach was covered with sea weed, swimming was not possible.

Sue’s place was very clean and our host very friendly

no aircon but that’s just us being a lightweight!

I was stranded when my Airbnb didn’t come through. Sue was responsive and helped me check-in late at night without much notice. She also helped me find my phone charger that I accidentally left behind.

I’m not a fan of the shared bathroom setup.

Hi, Sue. It's Kim. I arrived safely at the airport and waited for the plane. Fortunately, I was able to get through my baggage without any problems. It was so comfortable and nice to stay at your house. I will never forget the peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. I hope you and I can go back to our daily lives from COVID-19. Take care. No fireplace. No AC. Shared bathroom. No coffee. Pay for breakfast and cleaning.

The homestay is comfortable, clean and welcoming. Sue has an exceptional personality and very friendly. 10/10 would book again once I'm in the country.
