Small issue with upstairs AC but the staff jumped on the issue within 30 minutes of contacting them and fixed equally quick. Recommend a few more kitchen towels and more TP (we had to buy more) but everything else was great!

This home was more than we ever expected. It was spacious and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets from the large deck. Everyone enjoyed the pool, especially after a hot day of sightseeing. The pool had a broken drain cover, which was fixed within 24 hours of a call to management. The home is located within walking distance of groceries and restaurants. It is far enough away from the busy tourist area, but close enough to catch a quick ride to those areas when so desired. It was a perfect family vacation. We would stay there again.

Beautiful VRBO! It had a wonderful pool with a great water view. The house was beautifully furnished with all necessities. There was a broken cover on one of the pool drains. We received an immediate response and it was repaired within 24 hours. We would definitely stay there again.

This house was a good fit for 6 of us. Nice open layout, great view, and enjoyed the large deck facing the water. There is some wear and tear on the property, notably the dishwasher and some wall/ceiling spots that could use some repair. However, it was overall a solid home in a location convenient to grocery stores etc. and an easy drive to the old town area and other attractions in Key West.

Wonderful place. We rented 7 bikes and were able to store them in the garage and ride wherever we needed to go. Didn’t need to go much since the place was so great, between the pool and the spacious open kitchen and decks we were able to cook and make cocktails.

The house was easy to check in and out. The house was clean and layout was good. All the rooms had ample space and storage. The views were phenomenal especially from the 2nd floor. Pool was perfect size and is heated which was a bonus. The only downside of this house is the distance from duval street if that’s what you’re looking for.

Beautiful home located in a great location. Awesome views. Spacious rooms and great first floor. Office was very helpful. Cleaning was very basic. Floors were dirty, windows and sliding doors were dirty, even found several full handprints on glass from previous guests. Outside hadn't been cleaned in a while, definitely had not been cleaned before we arrived. There is mold in the showers.

The home was beautifully crafted and designed, kitchen was full of almost everything you needed. Regular cereal bowls would’ve been nice for kids, salt pepper and oil would’ve been great basic needs for the kitchen as well. Some areas in the home were not the cleanest, but on a positive note everything else was fantastic. Plenty of towels, AC was blasting, and it was a quiet area. The observation dock was a wonderful surprise to watch the sunset, or even off the balconies.

We had golf carts, which was perfect to get around. My only complaint is how close it is to home depot. I slept in the 1st floor bedroom and you could hear trucks all night making deliveries. amazing place and location! only recommendation would be some rugs in the kitchen on the marble floor. when ppl come inside and get the floor wet it can get super slippery. one of our friends slipped and fell and literally broke their jaw and had to book a flight home early to get it wired shut. other than that. great time!

Nice house, location limitations
Great house. No beach or water access and tanning by pool limited with less than 3 hrs sun starting at about 1:30. Minor maintenance shortcomings that are usual in my mind with such short term rentals. However the main floor sliding doors don't lock ( side panels aren't fixed in place.), Expected better for the money but we had a great time.

Great Stay at Mother Ocean
The property was as described and more. Beautifully furnished with all the necessary essentials. A quick drive to the action at Duvall St. but private with its own pool and jet skis and kayaks right next door if you wanted to rent them. The best of both worlds. 6 sorority sisters for a 50th birthday celebration with room enough for all of us the feel comfortable. Javier was only an email away if we needed anything which was rare because Alexa was handy for any questions. Great time in Key West. Highly recommend.

Relaxed and enjoyed
This home was perfect for what we needed. Three couples with plenty of room. Four couples and children would work but possibly a bit tight. Sitting on the porch every morning drinking coffee was my fave. Be prepared that in February not a lot of sun on the pool but we made it work by sunning in the driveway and dipping our toes in the pool when needed. Sun did reach the pool in the afternoon for about an hour or so. Definitely rent a golf cart to get around. Saved a lot of Uber charges and was a lot of fun! Duvall Street was amazing with live music on every block. Definitely check out the sunset at Sunset Pier. The A&B marina was amazing with wonderful food as well.

The property was just as represented. It was perfect for our family of 7 adults, clean, and located close to grocery/pharmacy. The view was beautiful and the house was stocked quality amenities. Doug was extremely helpful with answering questions and assisting us with renting a car. Bring bug spray. I was eaten alive! Otherwise, no other complaints.

Fantastic
We had an amazing time celebrating my husbands 30TH birthday at Mother Ocean. We loved having a private pool and grill, and all the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well kept. Minutes from Duval, downtown key west and fishing charters. Key west vacation rentals were very accommodating and made the rental process very smooth and seamless. Definitely will be back and recommend!

The place was great, the kitchen well stocked and the beds super comfortable. The outdoor space was perfect. My sister and her family were in the house next to us. We had breakfast in one house lunch and appetizers in the other one.
A couple of small issues. The outdoor grill stopped working.
Also the outdoor lighting on the deck off the living room was not working.

We wanted to rent a home in Key West, so our family could experience a vacation in paradise with us. “Mother Ocean” provided exactly what we had hoped: ample bedrooms for all, a beautiful home where we could relax, amenities that ensured our comfort after a long day snorkeling or a quiet day together at the house. We cannot say enough positives about this home and we have begun our countdown for returning.

Great getaway with everything you need in walking distance
Great house, we loved the decks, pool and open concept where we could all eat and hang out together while cooking. We rented a golf cart from Sunshine Scooters (loved these guys) to get back and forth from Duvall, but all stores and lots of restaurants are within walking distance if Duvall isn't your thing. We will be back soon!
