The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The view from the balcony was a sea view and a mountain view. Very close to bus stop for airport. The owner let us check out later.

As it is close to a main road, the background sound of traffic takes a little getting used to. The afternoon sun on the balcony can be strong,but there is a canopy.

The apartment is modern, very beautifully furnished, has a beautiful balcony with sea views, fully stocked kitchen, etc. The beds were comfortable and all of the air conditioning units worked well. It is well-located within easy walking distance to the harbor, shops, restaurants, and a supermarket.

Everything was great and the contact with the host was realy excellent. The property is very well located, with a beautiful view, very clean and with all the necessary stuff. I highly recommend this place!

The appartment is located within walking distance to the old port. The owner is friendly and readily available to serve. Nice welcoming with wine and fruits in the fridge. The house is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. Beds are comfortable. All in all, what you get is to experience a typical urban lifestyle of Chania town, beyond any touristic influence.

Very noisy location. It is not possible to sleep with open windows since the main street from the airport is just below the appartment. The building is old and the elevator with many operating problems.

The apartment is very specious. I don‘t think I had a kitchen so well equipped in a holiday apartment before. The location is good, it‘s a bit of a walk to get to venetian harbor, but the way along the shore is very nice. Christos and Rania are the best hosts ever. When did ever you host wait for you with hot food in the oven when you arrived to your accommodation?

UPDATE After my original review, I got a message from the host complaining that my review was unfair and I should change it. Apparently he gets quite emotional and takes it personally if you don't give a perfect review after your stay. See also his reply to Eleonora's review on 14.09.2020. Not only that, he also complained to Booking, that we didn't pay for an extra night he kindly offered for us for free. I have a written message from him saying that. I would avoid staying here unless you are willing to write a very postivie review, no matter your actual experience. I've changed the host's rating according this. END OF UPDATE The apartment is located at a very busy intersection and it gets very loud. It seems like Greece has the loudest motorcycles on the whole planet… Some of the furniture in the apartment has seen better days.

Spacious apartment with all the amenities you could ever need, super comfy beds, a beautiful balcony with sea views, fully stocked kitchen, etc. And it’s perfectly located a few steps from the sea and a short walk to old town. Christos and Rania are the most lovely hosts ever!They waited up late to welcome us on a late night arrival and even had homemade dinner waiting for us as a surprise, plus a fridge full of fruit and drinks. They checked in on us throughout our stay to offer anything we needed, and also provided some homemade sweet treats for our departure. Overall a fabulous stay, highly recommend!

Absolutely clean, comfortable and fully equipped. Christos and Rania were a delight, both before arrival and during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt like part of the family.

Excellent location, 10 mins walk to Chania old town, 5 mins to nearest bars and restaurants on the sea front. The bus station is a 15 min walk with regular buses to take you to many of the beaches in the area. Extremely helpful owners, picked us up from the airport and gave us many food gifts during our stay. Greek hospitality at its best! Apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need for a self catering stay, including a dishwasher and washing machine! The aircon is very efficient, much needed while we were there. The view from the balcony is lovely, to the mountains on one side, the sea on the other and the city in front of you. It faces west so you get the sun in the late afternoon and evening. Weve had a lovely stay and would highly recommend staying at this apartment in the beautiful city of Chania!

I loved everything

The lovely host Christos picked us up from the airport and made us feel very welcome. His wife Rania had cooked us stuffed peppers which were ready in the oven. Fruit, beer, wine all complimentary. They even left us homemade cake and biscuits on our door one day. Everything you need is in the apartment and as it is used by the family in winter it is a homely Greek style rather than a white box. It is a 15 minute walk to the old town but the location is in a Greek neighbourhood so really nice. Our air conditioning stopped working and immediately we had a new air conditioning unit installed which was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here. I would also recommend Captain Nicks glass bottom boat trip.

everything was great

Great apartment and great hosts. From being picked up from the airport by Christos and his son to the wine, fruits and lovely food brought to us by the host, everything was perfect. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean and with everything you need for a perfect stay and more. It is only five minutes from the beach of Kum Kapi, bars and restaurants, and only 10 minutes walk to the Venetian Harbour. We enjoyed having our breakfast and dinner on the terrace which has a lovely view on the sea and the mountain. The lift was an extra bonus for people who are not as young as they used to be... Chania is a lovely and very interesting town, full of history and very lively. Thank you Christos and Rania for sharing with us your lovely and homely apartment.
