Great room and breakfast waiting for us was amazing. The owner of the house is the nicest person ever. Room is very good equipped, even with a coffee machine, a fridge and a lot more. Highly recommended!

The breakfasts

There are two options, you can have your own facility’s and access to the garage on the right or be in the house and share a bathroom with them. We chose the former and it was perfect for me and my mum. We could come and go as we please.The hosts were absolutely lovely, though they only speak Dutch. Food in the mini fridge and fresh towels were given everyday. The location is literally a 5 min walk to the subway which we used very frequently. The bathroom is actually a wet room, but it functions just fine. All in all, it was a lovely experience, Rotterdam, Poortugaal and Spijkenisse were lovely and would love to visit again. The room had AC and a radiator, a TV, an Iron, tea and coffee facilities, mini fridge and a few other bits.

Clean and organized cleaned towels ..Plus it was fairly close to the expo.

The owners of valckesteyn were amazing, super friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome, even if we didn't speak the same language!

The ceiling sloping (that's unfixable so not a big issue at all)

Fridge made a noise switching on and off

The breakfast was spectacular and the back yard that I had free range in was gorgeous!

The bathroom is an all in one shower and the drain is a bit slow, so if you take a long shower the bathroom is flooded for a while.

It was very practical I had the breakfast stored in my own fridge, so I could decide for myself when to have my breakfast. In combination with the own key and own bathroom, made my stay very flexible and comfortable.

More options for the breakfast (which was good anyway). The rest was very nice.

I liked everything. The hosts were the sweetest couple. Very friendly and welcoming. The room was super cute and it made me feel like I was home. Highly recommended!.

The Landlady is extremly sweet, although we had language problem, finaly we understood each other. The room is extremly clean, comfortable, a little gem in the city. Since we arrived by public transport the sitaution was found excellent, only 350 meters far from the metro. The breakfast were really great! Summerized: unbeatable price-value ratio.

Super friendly hosts. Good room with good facilities. Toilet and bathroom were shared with the other guest room, but no other guest were there this time. Located in a quiet suburban neighbourhood but within 15 minutes drive of Rotterdam. Would not hesitate staying there again.

First of all, the breakfast was huge and delicious. The room was nice and clean. The owners are very friendly and kind. It's not like staying in a hotel, but more like staying at your aunt.
