NOVITÀ - Appena aperto. STONE EDGE è una bella e tranquilla proprietà situato in un bel giardino situato in una posizione privilegiata, vicino ai giardini botanici, "Il mulino" e Castlemaine Town.
La proprietà è costituita da una casa principale e due belle case in pietra arenaria "nord" e "sud". Questi due possono essere lasciato fuori separatamente o insieme. Entrambe le case hanno un letto king size che può essere convertito in pelo doppia e ognuno è unico nel carattere.
The North Cottage dispone di una lussuosa vasca idromassaggio in bagno e un camino in pietra arenaria splendido nel soggiorno. Perfetto per i mesi più freddi. Una stufa della cucina e del gas completamente attrezzata rende questo cottage ideale per soggiorni più lunghi o un week-end buongustai. Un ampio cortile privato scorre dalla camera da letto.
Il Sud Cottage dispone di un bel camino in pietra arenaria in camera da letto. Godere seduti accanto al fuoco o coccole a letto. Rilassatevi in un enorme doccia in stile romano in bagno. Lo spazio accogliente soggiorno dotato di angolo cottura e cortile esterno per godere.
Da Stone Edge a 20 min a piedi attraverso i celebri giardini botanici vi porta a "The Mill Castlemaine". We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Jackie and David were very helpful with lots of tips about things to do and see in the area. The cottage was quaint, comfortable and cosy with a lovely fireplace. And to top it off Jackie had left fresh produce in the fridge for breakfast. Our four nights was perfect!

We were very impressed with the gorgeous little cottage. The hosts had thought of everything. Even mozzie spray. There was an abundance of food for breaky. And the fireplace was cozy. We saw Kangaroos and beautiful birds. Loved it ❤️

A delightful place to stay for a weekend, week or a month. Jackie and David were lovely and the cottages were beautifully presented. At 2 km from town its a short stroll through the botanical gardens to get to the city centre.

We really enjoyed our stay at Stone Edge, a country stay close to beautiful Castlemaine. The hosts were very friendly and informative. The beautifully presented cottage had all the modern amenities because it had been renovated, but it still had the feel of a cottage from the 1800s. We particularly loved the shower and spa, and fireplace with wood provided. Best of all, were the generous provisions left for breakfast, with a full-size fridge and very well equiped kitchen. We also really enjoyed seeing the kangaroos in the morning. We would love to return sometime.

We were made to feel very welcome by Jackie and David at this comfortable stone cottage on the outskirts of the town centre. It was clean and comfortable with a plentiful supply of breakfast provisions and good quality firewood. We enjoyed the open fire in the evenings which added to the lovely ambience. We also enjoyed the peaceful garden setting, visited by blue wrens and silver eyes.

Jackie & David are fantastic hosts. We originally planned our stay in 2020, but due to circumstances beyond our control (COVID19 lockdowns), and 3 reschedules, we have just had a wonderful week at Stone Cottages. Thank you to Jackie & David for being so understanding. North Cottage is beautifully presented & has everything needed for a relaxing getaway, especially the generous sized spa. Plenty of breakfast supplies, fresh fruit & veg, with a well appointed kitchen. Lovely quiet surroundings just a few minutes into town for supplies. A gorgeous fireplace with plenty of wood on hand for cozy evenings. The bed is super comfy for a great nights sleep, or an afternoon nap.
We will definitely be back for more.

This property is perfect for a getaway. Decorated in a delightful way and set up for pure relaxation. Quite in the countryside but a short drive or bike ride to Castlemaine. Hosts are very nice.

The owners have thought of everything. Great breakfast supplies and bathroom accessories, Nice heated towel rail, rain shower and plenty of hot water. 'North' cottage had a nice patio area and good access to the gardens. just outside of Castlemaine but quick access to Botanic gardens and town centre. Hosts Jackie and David were very welcoming. Stone Edge Cottage North is the perfect bush retreat
The cottage is located 12 min walk from Botanic Gardens and 20 min from town which is the perfect situation. The cottage could not provide you more with an open fire, solid stone walls, a modern kitchen, a huge lux bathroom and a generous bedroom with the most comfortable bed. Jacki and David bent over backwards to ensure our stay was perfect with an overly generous welcome pack. including cheeses, eggs bacon, milk, fresh bread and a great selection of coffee pods. Could not fault nor ask for more this cottage.

Idyllic getaway
The cottage was tucked away in a semi-rural location yet only 5 minutes drive from Castlemaine. Full of charm with all the amenities you could wish for. Ample food provisions for breakfast and snacks. It was just so relaxing staring at the open wood fire in the evening.

Perfect hidden deluxe accommodation
Beautiful 4 night stay in North cottage, tranquil location lovely garden with lavender and fruit trees, waking up hearing kookaburras & seeing kangaroos and rabbits. Well appointed cottage complete with large spa tub and open fire (which we used twice) and outdoor terrace. Short walk into town via the botanical gardens. David & Jackie were great hosts with good suggestions for local attractions & supplied a very generous breakfast hamper, loved our time here & will definitely return

Lovely environment
Secluded area, great for a few days to get away from it all, but still be a stone’s throw from Castlemaine. Great environment with private garden that is a fabulous place for relaxing. The cottage is stylish, impressively decorated, fabulous furnishings, comfy bed, beautiful decorator pieces, plenty of room for two, and is very well appointed. As good as the pictures show. Ceiling fans kept the rooms cool (no air con). Not for you if you want strong web access (no WiFi, and private data connection struggled). Overall, you are well looked after with food and toiletries provided. Extremely welcoming hosts who were so easy to get along with, and very informative.

Wonderful stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stone Edge North Cottage! The hosts were warm and helpful, but also allowed us our privacy. We felt a world away and so relaxed. The cottage is beautifully decorated and wonderfully comfortable, and the extra details such as a chill-out playlist on the iPod -playing as we arrived- the luxury toiletries, large array of yummy fresh food, and the complimentary bikes, all gave the property that ‘X’ factor. We will definitely stay again!

Beautiful Cottage
My husband and I stayed here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we were not disappointed. It is a beautiful cottage and we loved the big spa bath. There was plenty of breakfast supplies, close to the main town of Castlemaine and we would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Lovely stone cottage with a equally lovely interior. Open fire in the corner of the lounge with a good supply of wood. Heaters were turned on for us and music playing on arrival. Great breakfast and cheese platter provided. Set on the outskirts of Castlemaine in a very quiet location. Bikes provided if you so desired a ride. Hosts Jackie and David were very nice.

A wonderful relaxing weekend. Jackie and David were both extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us some suggestions for eating and the Bridge Hotel was excellent. Thank you. We also took advantage of the bikes on offer which we spent riding into town and visiting some of the local attractions. Overall the property was amazing and we could not of asked for anything more.
