Die Fotos sagen viel: Alles ist Barbie-bunt und unser Dreibett-Familienzimmer bestand aus nicht viel mehr als den drei Betten und einem schmalen Streifen davor. Außerdem war es direkt neben der Rezeption und man jat jedes Wort, das dort gesprochen wurde, gehört. Es gibt zwar ein Fenster, aber das Rollo kann man nicht öffnen, weil sonst jeder reingucken kann. Man muss auch wissen, dass das Hotel an der Hauptstraße um Cebu herum liegt und hier auch nachts hupende Laster längsrumpeln. Warum gibt es von mir trotzdem eine gute Bewertung: Das Personal ist bis zur Selbstaufgabe freundlich und die Lage ist perfekt für das Schwimmen mit den Walhaien. Zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts (Ende Dez 23) herrschte völliges Chaos bei den Reservierungen für die Walhaie. Einige Touristen sind unverrichteter Dinge wieder abgereist, weil es wegen Überfüllung geschlossen war. Der Rezeptionist hat sich mit uns um 4 Uhr morgens zum Ziehen einer Nummer angestellt, dann bis 6 Uhr alleine gewartet bis die Nummer dran kam. In der Zeit konnten wir die hundert Meter zur Hostel zurück laufen und noch ein Stündchen schlafen. Ohne diesen Mann hätten wir das alles nie hinbekommen und das einmalige (wenn auch in Oslob umstrittene) Erlebnis des Schwimmens mit den Walhaien verpasst.

The butler is very friendly and always attends to our inquiries. They also provide us with recommendations for tourist attractions. The location is only a minute away from the shark-watching spot. Btw Wi-Fi is very fast.

The water pressure is insufficient, and the room is prone to ants. The mattress is not very comfortable.

basic room but great value for money. nice quirky 1 night stay for the whale sharks. whale shark place is a 1 minute walk away from the hostel. Ken who works at the Hostel is so good. so friendly and so happy to help you get to and from places.

The availability and friendliness of the staff were very good. We only had one night to swim with the whale sharks, the staff organized the whole tour and even offered a discount. The starting point for the whale shark visit is a minute's walk from the hostel

Great location - right in front of the whale shark watching point. You can buy a tour to skip the line for a small extra pay right at the desk. When restaurant is open it offer cheap and tasty food. Design is nice :) The upstairs terrace provides good view over the bay.

The hostel has been newly built or refreshed, but already looks a bit shabby and made of cheap materials. Water is cold only. Internet is poor and regularly fails.

Nice place close to the whale shark diving spot. Good place for rest.

I missing equipments and furnitures from the room. Like a safe or a glass from the bathroom where i can put my toothbrush
