Breakfast was beautiful very nicely cooked and hot service was excellent I would stay there again.

Really comfortable room, very warm and cosey. Great location, restaurant and pub within a few minutes walk. The lady that checked me in was extremely kind and helpful with local recommendations, and accommodating of my early morning check out.

The house was spotlessly clean and a great location. Roisin who welcomed me was extremely welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great, and nothing too much trouble. I will definitely stay again, look forward to it.

Roisin was such a friendly host, she gave us information about the local area , taxi numbers and cooked an amazing breakfast both mornings. Additionally our room was very clean and the shower was great.

The room was really nice, perfect for a small family, and the welcome and check-in was so friendly and easy. Breakfast was also superb and again it was lovely to chat with the owner.

Absolutely fabulous stay! Everything was wonderful! Lovely clean room, nice lounge area to chill out in and an amazing full Irish. Owners were lovely people-so friendly and super helpful. Everything was pristine and so comfy. Lovely fluffy white towels and linen. Owners were always available with any questions we had, even if they weren’t home, they were always available on the phone.

WiFi just worked in the lounge which might put some people off but I actually enjoyed not having wifi in the bedroom, as it meant we could properly switch off! Just two channels on the tv in the room but the lounge had a few more options.

Excellent location with the owner & staff above & beyond amazing. Was like home away from home. Highly recommend. Definitely back to stay next year.

Anvil House is an ideal base for visits to Achill whether for walking, cycling or a relaxation stay. Very private, quiet and safe location and only a few minutes cycle to the Great Western Greenway. Pubs and Hotels are also near-by for late meals and entertainment. A wonderful B&B, everything was spotless, comfortable beds with an excellent Breakfast, good value too. And Kieran is a very helpful host. Will be back.

Amazing & affordable BnB at the heart of Achill Sound. Great so location so that you can walk-access all the amenities easily. Roisin was a very kind lady and the room was spacious and spotless clean!
