The room was spacious and very clean, breakfast was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. The view from my room was straight accross the river and that was a great bonus.

Fantastic stay. Very engaging staff, comfy room, secure bike lock up and very good breakfast. The owner helped us locate a repair shop as well as giving us some restaurant tips. Highly recommend!!

Room was very comfortable with a fantastic view, breakfast was exceptional. Manager , sorry I never got his name , was very helpful. Beds comfortable , AC worked well.

The only thing we missed was a small bar fridge.

little minus - but maybe already repaired: matrasses are bigger than the structure underneath, so you slip of the bed or slide out of it and hurt your head on the little table next to your bed because you reach out for your watch or phone.

Courage is my favourite hotel in my favourite city in the world, Nijmegen. I travelled all the way from Australia to be here. I've stayed here more than 10x previously and I love the place. The Management and Staff are very helpful and lots of fun. Awesome place

The Internet connection was slow and also went a few times completely off. I could cover it with my cellphone but it was a bit annoying.

We spent new year's eve in Nijmegen, with a dinner and a party with friends. Courage was the perfect location for us. The Roman themed room was interesting and a bit quirky.

Maybe the hotel can screen for stag parties and groups. The group that was in the family room decided to light fireworks in their rooms and set off the fire alarm. We were on the pavement outside for about 2 hours. Not the hotel's fault, but the family room is perhaps a bit too attractive for students.

The hotel is located well outside of the busiest streets of Nijmegen but is still located fairly centrally. Access by train and bus is very good. While not equipped with a whole assortment of tea, coffee and a fridge, the rooms are tidy and have nostalgic old lamps. Breakfast is served delicious and healthy. I highly recommend eating it. We also really appreciated the ability to check in at a fairly late hour. That being said, do keep the instructions they send handy - getting your keys is a small puzzle. :)

Not all rooms have quite the same view. Some look out over the riverside, but others look up against a hill which, while nice, is probably not what you came for. :) Mind the relatively narrow spiral staircase if you're an avid stair climber, but know that the elevator's fine.

The hotel ist placed in a perfect location. Next to the water and the bike museum, very close to the city centre. That was really fantastic. Also I'm a big fan of these cute narrow Dutch houses and this hotel even has a spiral staircase!!!

I can understand that you don't have people at the reception after a certain time. but for me, my arrival time was 7:00 pm and still I had to take my room key from the locker. That is OK. But my room was freezing cold!!! There was no way to turn on or up the heating - I had to take the second blanket, then it was OK but not nice!

The atmosphere of the hotel, the quietness, that you could sleep with the window open, nice people at the reception, not special but good breakfast with nature fair yoghurt etc. That you could enter the hotel with your own key. The choice between the elevator or the very small a bit spooky stairs. The latter I preferred becasue it gives the hotel its authentic atmosphere.

I did not like the bed. It was very soft but also for one or an other reason not horizontal. I had a little pain in my back but the bed made it really worser.

Both the room and the staircase and hall really needs a cleaning. It was hard to breath due to dry dusty air on the staircase. In the bathroom we found a used hair elastic and und the lamp by the bed we found a use ear plug under it. And the air condition didn't work. It could only warm up the room, not cool it down. A lot of things on the breakfast buffet was missing or didn't get filled up.
