Everything was perfect from the beginning till the end; staff was really friendly and polite (front desk, cleaning, waiters, golf shop…), our villa was extremely clean and well maintained, the food at Le Club had variety and was always tasty and of course the surroundings were awesome: the Chateau, the lake, the forest… We traveled with two dogs and didn’t have a single issue during our stay.

There were flys in the restaurant and the bistro. I was surprised people don’t care of that .

We’ve wanted to stay at this hotel for a while as we have played golf here several times. Our bill for dinner, bed and breakfast was £600 and I’m afraid to say it definitely wasn’t worth it. Room very mediocre, poorly stocked mini bar and tea tray - didn’t even have teaspoons and given milk in a mug which you couldn’t pour without spilling everywhere. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. Dinner was good but portions very small and continuously being offered bread to fill you up I suppose? Service generally good and helpful from most members of staff.

Magnificent setting and surroundings, like a fairytale castle. Beautiful grounds and lovely cotttages/villages on which to stay and exceptional dinner in the main restaurant. Golf course and other facilities available.
