Very well positioned and close to train station. Clean and helpful staff.

Close to old town area. Very clean and a well positioned hotel. Close to everything you need whether it be coop store, train station, restaurants. All within 5 min or less.

The location was excellent and the best thing about this hotel. The train station is just opposite across the bridge and you are handy for supermarkets, old town etc. The room had plenty of space (superior double), was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Daily room cleaning. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was powerful and hot. The air con was needed given the weather, although it wasn’t the best/strongest A/C it helped. Despite being directly next to the street the windows kept out most noise, it wasn’t quiet but you are in the middle of a city so this is to be expected. We did open the window during the day/evening to let fresh in, as we didn’t mind the noise. 12pm check out.

The bedroom needed a mirror. The combined bath/shower had a fixed shower door which meant you had to get into the bath to switch the shower on. There was no main light just lamps. There was only 1 comfortable chair in the room despite it being a double for 2 people. If you are sensitive to noise do not stay in room 108 - it is on the first floor directly above the bar and faces directly onto the street. The trams and road pass close by. We were able to open the windows during the day/evening but it didn’t feel safe/comfortable to leave open during the night. The person who checked us in wasn’t particularly friendly or welcoming. We were a bit later than planned (about midnight) due to flight delay but I had messaged to let them know so they did not think we were a no show and confirmed they had 24 hour reception. The person only spoke to get our name, give us our key and tell us our room number. They did not tell us where the lift was or how to get to the room so had to ask. None of the usual information about the hotel, how to access help/reception, wishing you a nice stay etc. I appreciate it was late and we got the minimum information but we felt like an inconvenience. However other staff we dealt with - on check out, when asking for a city map etc were helpful and friendly.

We only stayed one night at the Central Plaza Hotel, but it was great! From the moment we entered the beautiful lobby, passing by the lively bar with live piano music, and checked in with very friendly and helpful staff, we felt completely welcome. We had requested a quiet room, and that request was met no problem. The room was large and spacious, modern and very clean. It’s a large hotel with many wonderful amenities and an excellent central location - just a 5 minute walk from the main train station, a 10 minute drive to the airport, and the buses and trams run from just outside the door. Highly recommend!

We felt the breakfast was very good, but overpriced at approx. $30US each.

Amazing location, 5 mins walk from main train station and 10 mins walk to old town. Eugene and the team made us feel right at home with the prompt and friendly service provided. The toilet looks newly renovated as well. Value for money considering the location, service, history of the hotel etc.

We visited end Mar, and the rooms were on central heating/ventilation. However, the room was not cool enough and we had to opened the windows. However, the streets below were quite noisy when the windows were opened. The team kindly sent up a fan, but it would have been better with central air conditioning, so the windows could be closed. Other than this, the stay was perfect!

On check in the staff would not honour the fact I prepaid breakfast, my app had it noted on my booking ‘ breakfast included’ but because his system didn’t, he told is we had to buy it. Not happy

Walkability. Right in the city center, close to restaurants, shopping, and the main train station. Clean. The staff are nice and friendly.

Should have a better cooling system where the guests can control the thermostat. Slippers should be readily available and guests should not have to ask for it to get it

We had an amazing room with an amazing view! It is conveniently located across the street from the main train station. There is also a grocery store down the street.

Die Lage des Hotel zur "Altstadt", zum Bahnhof und den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist sehr gut. Ein "COOP" ist gleich um die Ecke. Das Personal war auch freundlich.

Die Lautstärke im Hotel (Zimmer 316). Die Straßenbahnen und die Busse waren sehr laut zu hören und zu spüren auch bei geschlossen Fenster. Das Essen und der "Room Service" einfach zu teuer! Über 10 Euro für den "Room Service"...lächerlich! Die Zimmer ist "altmodisch" eingerichtet. Die Flure sind nicht sauber genut und die Tiefgerage ist ein wahres Abenteuer. Alles was größer ist als ein Fiat Panda, sollte dort nicht parken!

The hotel needs major renovation and update

The location of this hotel is excellent if travelling by train. There’s a supermarket just over the bridge that may assist with budgeting whilst travelling as we found Zurich to be expensive!

Our room was a ‘tight fit’ for 2 people & the layout was a little clunky (Eg. Coat hook on wall as door is opened - squishy!) The advertised ‘fitness room’ is not on-site & was not available until 9am - not ideal for tourists. The breakfast had a very limited selection of items & things such as pancakes were an additional cost. This was disappointing for the €24 per person cost.

Very central for the city centre and just across from the main train station. Staff very helpful and friendly and couldn't fault the room for space and comfort.

The bathroom was quite small.
