I was very satisfied with this accommodation. The apartment was large, clean and comfortable and spans the entire 2nd (top) floor of a private residence. I appreciated having a separate private entrance and staircase taking you straight to the apartment. Very quiet location in upscale Montcalm, away from the tourist crowds. Kitchen has everything you may need. Bathroom, however, could use some updating. Owner was very quick to answer any questions that came up and provided helpful tips. François even set up an office desk at my request and helped me work out parking arrangements for my vehicle. All in all a great stay!

We had plenty of room in this clean, spacious apartment for five adults. We liked the dining table and family area that provided space for meals and games. Close to several bus lines. As advertised. We stayed five nights in August.

This was our first VRBO in years - I was a little nervous, but everything was wonderful. Francois was professional and available, the apartment is clean and lovely and surprisingly huge - there was plenty of room for all 5 of us.

We arrived to a pristinely clean apartment. The owner was great about communicating right away with any questions that we had. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, right down the street from the Plains of Abraham. Plenty of room for everyone! The owner even allowed us to use his parking bc of the FEQ traffic. We’d definitely recommend staying here!!

We stayed for 3 nights to experience Winter Carnival in Quebec! The apartment is so spacious and clean. Four minute walk to Grande Alle. We used Uber's to get back and forth later in the night without issue. Excellent communication with Francois, he was so helpful to us. Would absolutely stay again!!

Overall the location and apartment were great! There was plenty of space to feel comfortable and spread out, great decor and comfortable all around. The only thing that was a challenge were the bunk beds - the mattresses were quite uncomfortable so thankfully we were able to double up in the other rooms and the couch was comfy! There were 4 grown-ups so that might have a bigger impact with a larger group.
We would definitely recommend this for a great trip! The host was super friendly, easy to work with and accommodating.

We had an absolutely delightful Christmas stay in Quebec City! The condo was exceptionally clean and the host was very attentive. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He even purchased a live Christmas tree for our Christmas stay. The property is in a great location. It is an easy walk to parks and great dining restaurants. I highly recommend this property!

Great property. Very large space on second floor. Large kitchen, well equiped. Long walk but within walking distance of old city. Found parking for vehicle and small trailer on the street which was great. Single bathroom with great shower. Sweet balcony overlooking the street. Would be nice to have some oil (olive or canola or )

We had a lovely time at this beautiful, immaculate apartment on the second floor. It was easy to access, comfortable and spacious. The parking situation is a little complicated but not a problem. And the place is a terrific home base for seeing Quebec. Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. The place was just as advertised, check in was simple, and communication with the owner was very good. It is a couple of kilometers from Old Quebec with easy access to bus routes but would be walkable as well.
All in all, a great experience.

The place was very clean, in a quiet neighborhood with lots of available parking and only steps away from the National Historic Park (Plaines d'Abraham). Bus route nearby if you don't want to drive, plus electric bike rentals a couple of blocks away. Owner was communicative and helpful - definitely would stay here again.

Family summer holiday
We really enjoyed our time in Quebec city and the location of this property was perfect for what we were looking for. Located only a block away from the Plains of Abraham, we were able to enjoy the nature this park offered and enjoyed our daily walks to the Old City.
Communication with our host was good, except for confirming/receiving check-in information, which wasn't provided until a half hour and a few frantic texts and phone messages prior to us boarding our plane to Quebec City. Once in Quebec, our host was great, responding to our questions regarding restaurant suggestions, and where things were located within the house. When concern was raised about some of the bedding, brand new sheets were provided the very next day which was greatly appreciated. (Some helpful things would have been to have written instructions on different amenities in the house and perhaps nearby eating and grocery shopping options. We've appreciated this in other VRBO's we've stayed in).
Overall a very positive experience--thanks Francois!

Beautiful Mont Calm upstairs flat
Overall this was a very welcoming property, with kitchen properly equipped, towels and linens provided. The street is quiet, and we enjoyed almost every meal outside on the terrace enjoying the street. The owner checked in a couple of times to make sure our needs were met, but was not overly present. Location is walking distance to the Musee Nacional des Beaux Artes and close to a coffee shop and a grocery. Perfect visit to Quebec City.

Family Vacation
We had a great vacation in Quebec staying in this historical home in Montcalm. The living space was plenty large enough for our family of five. It was a beautifully updated space but still had the historical 1930’s nuances. The neighborhood was quiet and right by Plains of Abraham’s (a block away) so we walked/ran every morning. Walking distance to a bakery and great restaurants. Old town Quebec is a good 25-30 minute walk which we did everyday. If too far for some you can easily Uber or take the bus. Our host, was incredibly helpful and attentive. His hospitality was definitely one of the best and we have stayed at a lot of VRBOs. Would love to visit again on the future!

Great location. Can’t beat this one.
25 minutes walk to downtown through the fantastic plaines of Abraham. Located in one of the most prestigious neighbourhood in Quebec City, this place is fantastic. The kitchen and the only bathroom are quite small but otherwise, it’s a charming and spacious apartment. You’re surrounded by a large variety of restaurants. The host was great to deal with and very helpful.

Great spacious apartment on a quiet street near everything. It was clean, comfortable and cozy. All the beds were great. Street parking was no problem at all. The owner looked in on us occasionally via text which was nice.

Wonderful rental in a fantastic location
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this rental. The owner was very helpful and accommodating and the suite was as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked, washer and dryer with laundry soap in suite, very walkable location and the parking included was an added bonus. The only small negativeand the thin mattresses on the bunk beds (fine for children but not for adults, and we were 3 adults travelling together requiring our own beds). Overall, the suite was very comfortable and felt like a home away from home. I would definitely stay here again!

The owner has modernized this lovely apartment, which spans the entire upper floor of a lovely old house and is located in a quiet family neighborhood. The entire house is spacious, and tastefully decorated. There is even a wonderful balcony, which is a great place to have a cup of coffee or a meal! The smallest space is the (one) bathroom, but considering it is an old house, thats to be expected. And because its an old house, the lovely old wood floors do quite a bit of creaking. Part of the charm! Comfortable beds and plenty of closet space. We especially enjoyed the dining room table for our leisurely morning breakfasts. Although there was only two of us, and three bedrooms, it was much preferred to a similar priced hotel or B&B room! It is the perfect house for two couples or for a family with several children and perhaps even the grandparents! Check-in was super easy. Street parking was strongly restricted (as was true in most Québec City and Montréal metropolitan areas) during key parts of the day/night, so we greatly appreciated being able to park in the driveway. It does require leaving ones car keys in a rear building mailbox and allowing the owner to move the vehicle, as needed. We were initially reluctant to do so, but getting a ticket was not an option! The kitchen was very well stocked, and the appliances were very recently purchased. We loved having a Washer/Dryer and were pleasantly surprised that soap pods are provided! There are plenty of towels! There are many added touches - umbrella, shoe trays, coat hooks, pens and note paper. With regard to proximity to Vieux Quebec, its a good 25-minute walk. However, there are plenty of Uber options, and a bus stop is a minutes walk away. Its a lovely walk through the nearby park, to reach the Plains of Abraham and all the town sights. We got many of our groceries before driving to the apartment, but we did walk to Avenue Cartier to get supplemental items and wine. Its a must-see street, just off the Grand Allée! We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary at Bistro B, and loved the ambiance and food! There are many more eateries than time, and Francois can lead you to your preferred foods! Café La Maison Smith is a 5-minute walk, for the best croissants! Be sure to spend a bit of time in the one that is located in Place Royale, for the ambiance and lovely coffee! The apartment is a great spot, from which one can head in any direction.
