The hotel is in Marly-Fribourg. It was very easy to catch the local bus about 5 minutes into the centre of Fribourg. The hotel gave us coupons for the bus. The hotel staff were very helpful. There is an Italian restaurant next door which is excellent. We enjoyed our 3 days there. Great scenery and delicious food in and out of the town. I am Coeliac and the hotel catered for my breakfast without me having to worry about gluten.

Cannot second the great breakfast reviews, it was as expected, little variety of food, some crucial stuff ran out during the breakfast. It wasn’t bad in any way, just wasn’t exceptional. Be early for the breakfast! ☺️

The stay was ok. The hotel is a bit out dated. However, the breakfast was really good (pay attention: additional fee is requested!). There is plenty parking space. The bed was fine. The room was clean

The hotel is located around 15 mins by bus from the center and 10 mins from the university where I was going to work. The checking was smooth and the next day (I don't know why I didn't receive it during the checking) I was offered a free transport ticket for the city that came in very handy. The room was pretty big, with a nice view of the mountains, and even if I slept with the windows open and there was no noise.

The room wasn't clean: the floor of the room was dusty, the floor of the bathroom had hairs and also dust, the pillows smell used and dusty and the sofa smell of humidity (just like pee, it doesn't affect me much because the room was big and I slept on the other bed). They also left a used toilet paper in the bathroom. When I went to the manager to express these issues he was attentive, however, when I come back to see if the issues were solved he implied it was all my imagination but they were doing their best to comply with me. He also told me that it was normal to have hairs all over the bathroom and that I could use the paper used by someone else because it was the way they do it. When I arrived in the room it was very clean and smelled of soap (except the sofa area), so they really clean it. They changed my pillow and it was a bit better. I tried to use the dryer the last day and it didn't work.

Good breakfast, location is good too, the Fribourg guest card is amazingly useful!

+ The hotel manager (Mr. Antonio Monteiro) and personnel are very friendly and helpful, proactively addressing all the needs! + The breakfast is very good! Moreover, the manager allowed us to take breakfast from the restaurant to the room. A half-board service is also available and is very good! + The room has a convenient and large bed, parquet floor with a soft rug near the bed, good furniture, many power sockets, and many clothes hangers. A desk has sufficient size to put a laptop and a large monitor on it (see the image). I like that furniture is wooden and comfortable. + All the requests and additional needs are solved promptly and friendly upon contacting the manager via the booking.com messenger or by phone. + Fruits are provided in the room upon arrival. + The infrastructure is excellent: a bus stop is in front of the hotel, and two department stores (LIDL & ALDI) are located within 200 m from the hotel!

- The internet connection was very slow (5 Mbps), which significantly complicated my remote work. However, the manager acted promptly, clarified the cause (it was the limit per each connection set by the service provider), and started solving it. So, hopefully, this hotel will have a fast internet connection soon! - It would be convenient to have a shoehorn and small toothpaste in the room, which is cheap to organize and would improve further the guest experience and comfort.

There is a restaurant outside where people discussed and argued till 1am very loudly. We even woke up. In the morning construction work across the street began. Giving that feedback to the staff they reacted like: „well what can i do?“
