El Hostal está en una ubicación excelente a sólo unos metros de la plaza del Sol. También hay una parada de taxis muy cercana y conexión con metro, etc.. Es un lugar muy recomendable. Está limpio y el personal muy atentos. Tienen cafés de cortesía en la habitación. Hay servicio de video vigilancia, etc..
Por ponerle un pero, la recepción cierra a las 12 pm y abre a las 9 horas por lo que si quieres hacer el check out pronto no puedes entregar en mano las llaves, tarjetas de la habitación.

Fueron muy amables conmigo y mis hijos! Pudieron resolverme todo! La ubicación es excelente. Yo estaba con dos niños y todo se me facilitó. Es muy buena la relación precio-calidad. Lo super recomiendo.

The location is great. Close to everything. The hotel was only a short block away from a plaza surrounded by various eateries and fronting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. On 09/16/2024 we were treated to a big surprise to see the king of Spain, King Felipe VI came out of the building (after a meeting with foreign dignitary) and proceeded to his limousine in front of his Royal Guard Squadron on horse back. Definitely, a highlight of our 1st ever Madrid visit.
The other couple who supposed to stay with us didn't make is due to health emergency. The wife could not make it all the way to complete our 14 days cruise. She had to disembarked the ship to go to hospital due to health. The hotel didn't allow me to revised our booking from 4 people to only 2 because we just missed the cancellation date for 1 day. We did not want to cancel, we only wanted to revised but completely denied.

The balcony door to the property was off its hinges and broken. It didn’t really close. Expensive choice for that.

Excellent acceuil et support. Deux problèmes mineurs résolus en quelques minutes et avec le sourire. Super emplacement entre la Puerta del Sol et la Plaza Mayor. Dans une rue calme au coeur d'un quartier dédié à la couture (fans de mercerie et de tisus, tout ce qu'il faut pour vous éclater). Ménage fait tous les jours, Chambre au calme.

Great location. Friendly & helpful staff (Jenny). Safe in room was helpful for leaving documents & other items while going around Madrid. Nice having an electric kettle for heating water for instant coffee or tea. The mini fridge was good to have also.
Only negative was the cleaners didn’t remove a partially eaten package of ham out of the mini fridge from a previous guest. Bed was hard for my daughter. I loved it!

El edificio era viejo, el ascensor antiguo ,la habitación era bastante amplia,el aseo era pequeño ,el lavabo minúsculo,no habían perchas para las toallas de la ducha,no había toallero para las toallas de la cara,eso sí había mucha luz de focos y lamparas y la cama era justa pero comoda ,caro para ser hostal

Salle de bain, pas un seul crochet pour accrocher quoi que ce soit, pas même les serviettes, douche très petite et inconfortable. Un matin il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude sans préavis et il a fallu du temps pour la redémarrer.

Excelente ubicacióna dos cuadras de la Puerta del Sol. Pieza confortable, con muebles modernos. Caldera eléctrica que brinda la posibilidad de hacerse un té o café. Muy limpio.
El ascensor no para en el primer piso y eso lo hace un poco incómodo para subir las valijas. El baño es muy lindo pero falta algún perchero.

Location was perfect, just one minute from Sol Metro station. From there you could walk to everywhere. 10 to 15 minutes and you are in Plaza Major, Palazio Real de Madrid, Bank of Spain, Retiro park.
The internet connection was very good.
We were able to leave our luggages on the hostel after check out.
The room was small but bed was comfortable.
Bathroom was okay.
Not very clean. Some of the towels in the bathroom had some black staims. Corners of the room were dirty.
The room had a strange smell.
Bed sheets were not changed during the stay.
Overall not the cleanest room or stay.
The room had only one big pillow and two people had to share it together.

Central location & clean rooms. The bed was also pretty much comfortable.
