The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to store our luggage prior to check in time and after check out time so we could tour the area after/before our flights. The location is excellent, just a short walk 5-10 min) to the train station. The area felt very safe and was clean. The room was clean and a decent size for two people.

Upon arrival, the room was extremely hot. After running the air for a few hours, it only cooled down by 1-2 degrees. We told the front desk that the room was hot; she went to the back area behind reception and came back to informed us that she turned the air down in the room so it should get cooler. We didn't sleep much the first night as the room was still about 76 degrees. The next morning, I went back to reception to complain again. This time a different lady went back behind reception then came back to inform me the air in the room was not working. They offered us a fan or to move to a room with twin beds. I can't sleep in a hot room, so we took the twin beds. The next room was much cooler.

We stayed with the same hotel chain in Osaka where there was a little more space for two people sharing a room. Considering we stayed with this hotel night for 8 nights in total l would have thought that warranted a better position in the hotel. Looking at a wall out of the window in each hotel was a little depressing after a while.

Good location for Tokyo central and Akasaka. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores. Easy to travel by underground well signposted. Opposite shrine and other interesting places. Very helpful and kind staff.

The hotel location, the hotel, the room, the staff were all exceptional. The 24 hour a day service in English from staff was appreciated. The ability for the staff to reserve a taxi was also appreciated.

The only concern was the inconsistency with the water pressure resulting in the water becoming too hot or too cold during a shower.

The room was tiny and the entire hotel is old and dated. Like a 90's idea of an 80's hotel that was never improved. It is in serious need of refurbishment. Plastic cafeteria trays and plates and cups at breakfast. Breakfast quality could be much better for the price. Bathroom wasn't properly cleaned (found hair in various spots), and bath drain was clogged. No gym. Dark hallways. Staff didn't share breakfast or WiFi info with us at check-in. Threadbare curtains in our room (light shined through the bare spots). I don't understand how this hotel is rated higher than 8 on Booking.com. I travel frequently and this place is a 6 to 7 at best.

Location is a bit out of the way. Not far from the subway but 25 mins away from most major attractions.

Very basic hotel with extremely dark and dared rooms. Not bad but 4 stars is an exaggerated rating. Room was super small, with one bed side against the wall. Breakfast is expensive but mediocre. They even charge you per hour for early check in even if the room is ready and same for late check out $10 per hour. No iron in the room, only instant coffee in the room. No concierge service. No safe in the room.
