Asure Prince is near the centre of Taupo, so close to all amenities, cafes, restaurants and bars. The room itself was spacious and fully equipped. Wifi was fast, TV had Sky in both the living room and the bedroom. The bathroom was large with good water pressure.
There was plenty of parking but, because there were no designated spaces, it was not always possible to park adjacent to the accommodation.

Great location,the room was a good size and it was nice that there was a couch suitable for 2 people to sit comfortably.
Because the room was located inside an alley way the room was quite dark and not very appealing but because we booked this room a couple of days before arriving after cancelling another motel we probably didn't have a lot of choice.

Worst motel in Taupo i ever stayed. The old grumpy guy at the reception was so rude . We agree we were late by 30-40 min for checkout but he started banging on our car door. He disturbed the privacy. There r better options in taupo. Avoid this place for stay if you can

Could have been a bit cleaner. Found a few hairs in the bathroom that weren't ours. Also, decaffeinated tea options would've be been nice.

It was situated so handy to the town centre and all the restaurants were within easy walking distance. A nice quiet situation.

Bed was clean and comfortable and shower was very good. lots of hot water and good pressure. very easy walk into town and we enjoyed a meal at the Thai Restaurant which is in the same location.
first night there seemed to be a few trucks going through at all hours, second night was a lot quieter.

They have over night charge facilities for EV's - for a small fee.
Premises are now aged/tired, and in need of a make-over.
We felt like there was no trust in the clientele - a charge of $150 if a key was lost, a $225 bond was required because a debit card was used to secure the booking.
There was no concession made for a multi-night stay, while very limited service were provided on successive days, i.e. bed linen not changed, milk and beverages not renewed, etc.

Great place to stay at close to town and easy to navigate our self's to the Golf club we had a few hick ups but managed it with great response from the head of office we felt safe staying here at the Asure Prince Motor Lodge
Just a few minor things but was well managed by the staff. Housekeeping needs to make sure the room is restocked

I loved everything but if you’re looking for lake front rather than peace and quiet this isn’t for you.
