Extremely clean, possibly the cleanest B&B I’ve ever seen! They have thought of minute detail down to earbuds & showercaps. Sally was very pleasant & helpful when our DSTV remote didn’t work. Close proximity to CBD, would be well-suited to business people.

apartments are in a sub-divided house. Noise from neighbours was unpleasant. The view from the back is stunning, but the road is dodgy, semi-industrial/commercial vibe. Not really a scenic retreat for families, rather suited to passes-through on business.

I rented the whole cottage. Nice, quiet, and amazing view of the natural forest. The breakfast was really nice.

The location was exquisite, the views were spectacular. It was close to shops, should you require a shop. It was extremely well set up for self catering. The beds were so comfortable. The property is magnificent. We cant wait to go back.

Location of the property is amazing. There are beautiful views of the hills beyond with stunning gardens and a swimming pool. Our room in general was comfy and had everything we needed with a very nice lounge and patio. The bedrooms and beds were also comfortable. The staff were great. Rudi and Marie were a great help when my ring fell off by helping search for it. I found the ring in the end. We also were able to park both our cars inside which was a great perk.

The bathroom wasn’t great. The toilet seat was broken and the shower leaked all over the walls. The fact that the area is very damp and wet, also led to the bathroom always being damp as there was not enough ventilation through the windows. Perhaps an extractor fan would help with this as our towels couldn’t dry properly. The bathroom also could have been cleaned better, with some dirt still left behind the bin and under the toilet. I think an entire bathroom upgrade would assist in making this room near perfect. The kitchen was a bit small for a family of four but served it purpose fine. The second bedroom window looks directly on the staff courtyard so at 7am when the staff arrive to get breakfast ready/ start cleaning, they do cause some sleep disturbance to the guests in that bedroom. And then lastly, there were very loud and rowdy guests who basically took over the entire pool area on the last day we were there which was a little disappointing, but I suppose this is out of the property managers’ control.

The location, it was easy to find .

We initially booked for 4 couples (adults) we told them prior to booking. Aporn arrival, we were allocated 3 rooms ,one which was supposed to be a family room with 2 bedrooms for 4 adults only had queen bed and 2 single beds all in one room. The gentleman that assisted us was cold and told us that they were fully booked and we cannot get a refund. We had to go and book another place close by. Communication was not good , that our rooms where not serviced on the 1st, we were told that all their staff were on leave and that massage was sent via whatsapp while he saw us and never said anything. We were miserable the first night trying to figure out where our friends which where to join us the next day going to sleep. We never received any apology or a refund. I would not recommend anyone to book gateside. Their communication sucks. What the sell you is not what you get.

Great location, close to the highway, shops and eating places. A lovely, comfortable guesthouse, with quiet and peaceful surroundings. The rooms are spotless and beautiful, with very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are big, and equipped with everything you need. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay, and will definitely be back
