This place has all the charm you could ask for along the ocean. As small as it looks, it’s perfect for any size family. Walking distance to everything. Close to other homes but feels private when your outside near the water. Perfect getaway

The house was clean when we arrived with plenty of bath and beach towels for use. We had 6 people and it was very comfortable with the bedrooms and communal spaces. The view of the ocean is spectacular and we spent every evening around the firepit with the sound of the ocean. The house is tucked away, but an easy walk to short sands beach in York.

The cottage was amazing, however communication with property manager needs improvement. Amenities listed 2tv's only one when we got there none in the living room, 3 calls because nothing was resolved until the last call error on the website only one tv. Our last day there we found the tv in the living friend visiting who is an engineer hooked it up for us unfortunately it was our last day. other little things but the tv was the most. My son is autistic and legally blind he likes to watch listen to his game shows.

What a perfect vacation! The layout was great for us, my elderly mom and our two kids. The location can't be beat -- a quick jaunt to a sandy beach, shops and restaurants -- but so relaxing just to to stay home. We ate every meal outside, enjoyed the firepit and lapping waves, and had plenty of time to relax while watching the kids scramble over the rocks and explore the tide pools. Highly recommend this rental for a classic Maine summer vacation.

The location is amazing. Waking up to an ocean sunrise while drinking coffee was a highlight. The cottage is efficient, comfortable, and well designed.

This oceanfront cottage was a perfect place to relax and enjoy starry nights and glorious sunrises. The house was cozy and just like the description and pictures suggested. It had everything my family and I needed and I was sad to check out. I would definitely stay here again.

This property is ideally situated along the coast at Barn Point. Really a “stones throw away” from Pebble Beach! At every hour, you can watch and hear the tide roll in and roll out.
A short walk into York and Short Sands Beach and easy drives to great restaurants and beaches.
The house is simply and nicely decorated. Truly enjoyable.

4 of us go on a girls trip every year. We decided on Maine and picked this property and we were all so happy that we did.
The property is perfectly set by the water, where we loved watching the tides change, lobster fisherman and millions of stars. The house is quaint, with everything you need (except a pizza cutter). The decorating is tasteful and the furniture is very comfortable. Less than a 10 minute walk to the little beach town is such a bonus.
We enjoyed several fires at the fire pit and friendly conversations with the neighbors on both sides. I would go back today, if I could.

Amazing location. The view is spectacular. The house was clean and well stocked. Only downfall was the grill did not work and we had planned to use it for dinner. Other than that amazing vacation home!

Loved sitting in the porch in the morning drinking coffee then later in the evening with wine. The beautiful ocean views with accompanying sound of crashing waves was perfect for our relaxing get away. Close to restaurants and shopping. Great place. Easy booking and check in and out. Will come back.

The house was perfect for our group of 6. Incredible views and location, very clean and well stocked with sheets, extra towels, and kitchen items. We spent every night outside at the fire pit - lots of places to buy firewood on highway 1, wish we had remembered to buy things for s'mores! The only trouble we had was with the WiFi not working on the first day, but the managing agent was very responsive and ensured it was fixed quickly.

Perfect beach getaway for all ages (4-80)! Quiet and relaxing oasis away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but close enough to walk to for lunch or a day at Short Sands beach. We even saw a whitetail fawn nursing on the pebble beach at sundown. Will book again in a heartbeat!

Perfect oceanfront cottage
This place is oceanfront perfection! Unobstructed views, comfortably furnished and comprehensively equipped. quiet location but easy walk to the center of activity in the Short Sands area of York— just a wonderful place, and we hope to return soon!

Oceanside Retreat
Wonderful location. Loved sitting in the yard enjoying the sites and sounds of the ocean. The cottage is very bright and comfortable.

Location location location!
I took my dad and 94 yr old grandpa to Maine to fulfill a bucket list wish. The house had the most beautiful view and was the perfect place to just rest after a day or sight seeing.

Wonderful stay!
This was a perfect place to get away with family. It was amazing to be right on the ocean, and the kids had a blast on the rocks and pebble beach. Everything was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was great with everything we needed. The walkway to the front steps and first floor bedroom were great for accommodating our senior family member who has difficulty with steps (there were a few steps she negotiated carefully).

Wonderful!
This property was everything we hoped and more! It is such a cute cottage Right on the Ocean, wonderful views from every room and you can hear the waves crashing all day and night, what a great way to fall asleep! The view while sitting in the front yard is beautiful! My son enjoyed climbing on the rocks in the front and finding his way over to the pebbly beach. It is only about a half mile stroll to downtown with shopping, restaurants and the public beach. Very comfortable beds and an abundance of amenities and linens! Will be back!!

Charming cottage with incredible views
We had a ideal stay at this cottage. The sunroom was the perfect place to enjoy the view and sounds of the surf and ringing of the buoy. The AC units and the gas fireplace kept us comfortable no matter the temperature. The bedrooms had wonderful views. We loved the fire pit (bring your own wood).
The kitchen was well equipped but it would have been nice to have sugar and creamer for the coffee maker.
My only other suggestion is to add owner’s book of personal dining/shopping recommendations.
Would love to stay again!

Perfect!
The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was close to good restaurants and shopping. Very relaxing and peaceful, we had a great time.

Amazing
Awesome little cottage, had the street and ocean all to ourselves during the off season and it was wonderful. I can see how parking would be tight when people are staying in the very nearby homes around it, but we only had 1 car and the other homes were vacant so it was not a problem for us at all. The ocean is in your backyard and the house is very cozy and well done for a small family. We had a wonderful stay and wanted for nothing.

The Sisters
The setting is beautiful and the house accommodated us very well. The porch was our go to place for reading, eating and viewing. The Adirondack chairs provided us comfortable seating while looking out over the ocean and sitting around the fire pit. However, there were no waste baskets in the bedrooms or upstairs bathroom. The coffee maker needed a good cleaning before we could use it and there was a missing screen on the window in the twin bedroom, so unfortunately it couldn't be opened to receive that refreshing ocean breeze. The fan paddles could use a wipe down and the twin bed mattresses need replacement.. Overall, it is a fantastic location and we're looking forward to a return.

The house and location was perfect for our girls weekend! We enjoyed sitting on the porch with windows open so we could hear the ocean. It was a great find, talking about going back next year :)

The house is super cute and the view is breathtaking! The beds were really comfortable too! The only reason I did not give five stars is because the ceiling fans are in need of a real good cleaning And there were no batteries in the TV remote downstairs.

Heaven on Earth
This was the perfect venue for girls weekend! Overlooking the ocean, a short walk to the beach, restaurants and stores, with all the comforts of home - we didn’t want the weekend to end. We are looking forward to spending girls weekend there again next year.

Beautiful setting just feet from water. Many updates. Great location. Lovely, fireplaced cozy living area with seating for 10-12.
Washer/dryer. Large dining table in kitchen. Also large dining table on enclosed porch for watching sunsets during dinner. Tight parking area. Stairs to second story would be difficult to climb for older adults. 3 bedrooms up and one down. Not fully air conditioned; 2 small bedrooms upstairs only have ceiling fans. No bath tubs only showers which were updated and spacious. Handy to Rte. 1. Very clean and tidy. Spacious. Would definitely rent this cottage again. I miss hearing the ocean hitting the rocks and the clanging of the buoy. Drifted right off to sleep upon hitting the bed. Beds were extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend this rental.
