Friendly hosts, owner showed me a local place for dinner next door with delicious and well priced food. Room was clean and comfortable, nice view of city from Balcony. Easy walking distance to Kandy Railway Station.

Early morning prayer from adjacent temple made it hard to sleep. But not the hotels fault and owner warned me about this in advance.

Staff: extremely friendly, she prepared me a breakfastbox, because I had to leave early to catch the train Accomodation: nice ventilator, big bed, decent amount of room in the sleepingroom Breakfastbox: simple food, saturating, tasty Location: quite close to the trainstation.

Accomodation: my room was close to a heavily busy and noisy road, so I woke up early. The bathroom was quite narrow. And the window clear. One could look into the bathroom if standing on the hill in front of the hotel. It was not possible to look into the bathroom from the street though. Cost/performance: okayish. Maybe a bit too high especially concerning the comfort (noise, bathroom).

The staff is very nice and friendly. The location is good; a few minutes from the train station. The place is clean.

At 5 am everyday, I was awakened by very loud prayers in the adjacent temple.

Nice room, okay bathroom

I somehow expected a bit more from the pictures and reviews. Very simple accomodation with the sparsest breakfast (not at all matching the pics) I had all over Sri Lanka. And very noisy, from the traffic in the day time to prayers in the evening and morning. But, as said, the room itself was okay and clean.

Hosts were very friendly and helped us planing our stay in Kandy. They organised a City-Tour with a friend of them. We can highly recommend this tour! Nice View, really good breakfast and very friendly hosts!

We looked for 1-night stay near train station so we expected nothin special. The place is really nice though! Room was small and simple so I would not recommend it for a long stay but it is quite clean with beautiful view (despite it is a train station area), a color-full temple is visible through the common balcony. Breakfast was very delicious! It was Sri-Lanka style meal and we liked it a lot. Owners are nice people, we had a pleasure to stay there.

There is a short quite dark part of the road if you get back late, but it is not a problem if you have a flashlight or phone. We didn't feel in danger just a bit uncomfortable. As there is a temple just over the road be aware that you will wake up early to listen to the songs :) Not a minus actually (at leasts it wasn't for us), but I know that many people try to avoid morning religious service.

Sadly the room wasn’t as clean as excepted. Hair and stains on the sheets, spiderwebs in the bathroom, stains on walls and curtains…. also the sheet didn’t fit the mattress of the bed, which revealed a very stained and dirty mattress. Not something you want to sleep on. I got bitten by insects during the first night. I changed hotels after that. Its also extremely noisy. especially in the morning, because it’s close to a temple. The breakfast wasn’t good. The Toast was hard, like it has been sitting on the plate for a while before serving. The coffee came, when I had already finished and wasn’t worth drinking either. The hosts were very nice though.

The staff were all very friendly and supportive when it came to giving advice and organising day trips. The Sri Lankan breakfast is very good. The balcony has a fantastic view over Kandy.

The room was not clean, and neither was some of the bedding. The area is very loud due to local business and the monks prayer call at 5am every day.

Good hotel for a short stay : the room is simple, the bed could be more confortable though The location is very practical for those who need to go to the bus station, it’s only 5mins away. Breakfast was simple but good.

There’s a temple in front of the room and you could hear the preach quite early in the morning (around 6am) ! Also there’s not always someone at the reception when you need info
