The room and the lovely comfortable bed. Evening meal taken in my room - see below
Being taken to the cruise terminal.
Having to book The Jetty for dinner and on arrival hearing thumping disco music and then being told that my table was very near to where the music was playing. This wasn't suitable and so I had my evening meal in my room which wasn't what I was expecting. I was told there would be music playing however you couldn't hear yourself think, let alone talk. This wasn't for me!
One other thing that bothers me is that I am usually collected from the cruise terminal back to the hotel to collect my car. In an email I was told that it was not a guarantee that I would be collected from the cruise terminal, although they would take guests to the cruise terminal, but not apparently when they return to the UK/cruise terminal. In my view if you provide a service to the cruise terminal, it's common sense to collect someone from the cruise terminal especially when you've paid for car parking for either a week, fortnight or longer!

The spa was very busy and the pool had so much chlorine in it everyone eyes were stinging.

This is a first time in my live I pay penlty for what they call late check out !!! At 11:30 am. Actually this is strange and annoying, I told the receptionist that I will write this in the review and she mentioned that’s fine

Room 510 excellent. Lovely good value continental breakfast. Helpful staff. Very clean everywhere. Convenient for bars restaurants small supermarket.

Lovley modern building, hotel rooms were clean, smart and organised. Beds were extremely comfortable. Rooms were quiet and cosy. Overall really really nice place

Staff in reception were very helpful and as would be expected in a 5* hotel. Room was comfortable and well-appointed, with a good view of the marina.
Breakfast was very ordinary and not worth the additional £50 per couple. The buffet was not extensive and the cooked items limited with little originality. Also providing only one slice of toast with poached eggs was desultory given the price charged. Service of coffee was slow.

The place was simply fabulous. Rooms are very comfortable with a great view. Lobby area is quite nice and staff very helpful. The in-house restaurant is excellent and the hotel location is near some other great restaurants.

Property is beautiful and clean and the staff are nice. I ate at the restaurant (jetty) and that was fantastic. Very large, comfortable bed.
No soundproofing. Got woken up throughout the night from constant doors slamming to the point I had to call reception about 3am to complain. Then in the morning, all I could hear was the constant flushing of water in the pipes. I was in room 322 so avoid that one!

Spa full of children. Toddlers in the jacuzzi ! Totally in relaxing . Booking.com have charged me and hotel have also charged me !

The staff from reception to guest service and the restaurant employees were all very accommodating and welcoming. Great location and had a great time! Thank you to the Harbour Hotel.

As a fairly new hotel, the facilities are contemporary, bright, and clean. The room was comfortable with excellent amenities, although definitely not 355 square feet as advertised (both the room and the bathroom; maybe we were wrongly assigned a "standard" double) and not fully functional (the coffee maker was broken and bulbs were out, but they were serviced promptly once identified). They have plenty of staff.
My email communications with the hotel were unsatisfactory and their constantly-changing room rates were disturbing. Initially, I communicated directly multiple times as their room availability and rates were changing frequently several months before our desired stay; they never even responded. Within a week of choosing to book with Booking.com I noticed that the rates were reduced. Although I had chosen a "non-refundable" rate (it was 274.50 BP at booking), I communicated with the hotel requesting a credit for the difference (to be used only for services at the hotel during our stay); it has been my experience that most hotels will grant such a credit in these circumstance. After several iterations with different staff, the answer was no ("read our terms"). Both because of this guest-unfriendly answer and the content of their responses, and the prior difficulties I had encountered, I chose to escalate my concerns. Only after copying my communication history to the Harbour Hotels management team did one of the hotel's management communicate their acceptance of my request. I expressed sincere appreciation and was looking forward to our brief stay prior to celebrating a milestone anniversary aboard a cruise ship. The week before our stay the room rates were lowered again. I politely communicated again to request the difference as added credit; this time, the same Managing Director curtly responded no way. My strong advice to others considering booking for this hotel: ONLY CHOOSE THE FULLY-REFUNDABLE RATE, and follow their rates as your arrival date approaches and rebook as indicated.
Also, we found the reception staff had an arrogant "edge" toward us, but that may have been because of my communications history.
Finally, we found the dinner at The Jetty to be nothing like its reputation: the service was slow and the food and wine-pairing only fair.
We are very experienced and frequent travelers.

Very clean and well decorated. Great facilities.
The TV in our room did not work. Prices surrounding room service and breakfast are misleading. We had reached out for more information but were misinformed. Additionally, very few vegetarian options for room service breakfast despite charge of almost £25.
Unfortunately the property have not responded to these issues when I reached out.
