This little apartment is privately owned. It is located in a perfect area that is nice and peaceful but near enough to the restaurants and pubs. The beach is just down the road and a spar shop which is very handy. The kitchen was equipped to cook if that is what you enjoy on your holiday.. it also has a washing machine which we used I would stay again but would time flights to suit check in/out

No reception so when we arrived a couple let us in the main gate and explained to us. We messaged the owner and we went to a cafe for 2 hours until we could check in. The pool has no bathroom or we could have changed and sunbathe. Pool seems to be unused with prob 5 loungers. On last day we had a late flight but had to cart our bags with us for the day. Communication is via booking.com so very limited. Owner also insisted on cash deposit.

Only one sun lounger which was filthy, the out door furniture was in need of painting and one of the arms was loose. There was no iron in the apartment (we bought one and left it for future guests). As a regular traveller I have become used to having basic necessities in the property ( washing up liquid, washing powder) there was none of this and only 2 coffee pods and one toilet roll. The pillow situation was strange, certainly could have done with 2 full size pillows each.

Although area is quiet, the apartment is most definitely not soundproofed ( as stated as one of the 'facilities'). The residents above us were not noisy but we could hear them snoring and using the bathroom! The garden view( from the patio) is of a very small patch of garden, and then the main street. The mountain view is from the bedroom window that you will only see when out of bed. On booking.com it lists 'toiletries, body wash, shampoo and conditioner' as available. None of these were available. There was some hand wash in the bathroom. No cleaning products, yet these are also listed in 'facilities'. The property is not on the beach or beachfront - this is a little misleading. However it is only a short walk away. Some of the facilities listed on booking.com are misleading- I would advise to double check if you require anything specifically.

A more flexible check-in would be Nice. we had an early flight.. but we understand If this is not Always possible.

Really nice apartment. Clean, comfortable and had everything that you would need including cooking facilities and washing machine.

When it was particularly windy, the shutters on the bedroom fire exit rattled a bit during the night but it didn't affect our experience.

Listed as beachfront but it is about half of miles from the water and at the end of the road. I hired an electric scooter to go around. The owner insisted on a cash deposit. no water, no salt, no tea or coffee or laundry detergent were provided. Bedsheets are not cotton.

No place to hold luggage when checking out for late flights.

Location, amazing shower and bathroom, beds. Area is very secure. Attractive apartment, facilities. Sun trap in afternoon. Quiet area with friendly residents. Would absolutely recommend.

It was my partner and her 15yr old daughter who stayed, the only issue was Work men there in day, didn't feel comfortable using pool until they had gone. Not major issue, went out in day and came back to use pool when they knew the work men had gone.

The 1-bedroom apartment was impeccable and conveniently located in a residential area with the beach, supermarket, and restaurants just 5mis away. Perfect for a quiet stay with acccessibility to the paseo marítimo and all the hussle and bussle that Puerto del Carmen can offer in less that 1km away. José was always very responsive and courteous when I needed something or had any questions. The place is also perfect for those who’d want to telework ( good wifi and reliable conexión). Totally recommended! Thanks José, I’ll return soon!

Property has been renovated to a reasonable standard. The host was friendly and made us aware of his availability aswell as the location of restaurants Supermarket and restaurants and beach within 10 minutes walking. Complex was quiet. Wifi went down on 2nd day but we didn't mention it so cant comment on getting it back on water cava and chocolate was left for us as a welcome gift which I thought a nice touch.

Property was advertised as having an on site restaurant ...we were told by people on the complex that there's not been one for years. We commented on this to the owner Complex is mainly residential. Parking isn't too bad but there isn't a designated parking spot.

Nice little apartment, comfortable and decent bed. We barely used the facilities but the kitchen had enough utensils to be used. The swimming pool looked really nice even though the shower was not working. There an awesome typical restaurant 5 min walking from the apartment, the beach was super close too. Many shops around, a big spar walking distance.

Sometimes the wi-fi was not working, same with the hot shower. There is no air con but it was not needed since the window was constantly blowing. It would be nice if there was a fan in case we wanted to close the window.

On arrival we were met and shown around the apartment. The property was beautifully laid out and very clean. It had been recently refurbished which was very nice. There is a good sized walk in shower with plenty of hot water. The kitchen has a fridge freezer and a washing machine which is very useful. The bedroom has a lovely Double bed and built in wardrobes. There is a large tv in lounge if you want to watch (we were out so didn’t use). All in all a beautiful apartment.

Please note these are not criticisms just observations as it didn’t take away the fact that this is a great apartment. A few finishing touches will put all of these right. The sliding door on the bathroom has no lock so keeps sliding open if using toilet or shower but not an issue for us. The fridge is noisy at night right next to the bedroom and bedroom door can’t be closed as no handle on inside. The apartment is situated a little out of town and at top of a small hill so may not suit elderly or immobile.
