Het ligt niet bepaald in het centrum maar dat werd niet persé als nadelig ervaren, het is ook wel lekker rustig

Gemütliche kleine Wohnung im unteren Teil eines Hauses am Ende der Strasse. Ruhig. Küche sehr gut eingerichtet. Vier Kochplatten. Genügend Pfannen, Bratpfannen in top Zustand (nicht verkratzt). Kaffeemaschine.
Ken war sehr aufmerksam und gab uns einige Tips.
Wir waren auch dankbar, dass man am Abend die Heizung einstellen konnte.
Und als Sahnehäubchen die Katze, die immer vor der Tür auf uns wartete.

Good location just a few minutes drive from the centre of Dunedin, shops etc. Quiet situation overlooking the trees of Jubilee Park, with a small terrace. Handy street parking nearby.
Well equipped, clean and comfortable (very comfy sofa!). Fastest WiFi we have encountered so far in our New Zealand travels. Useful laundry room. Appreciated the provisions of tea, coffee, sweet treats etc, and bathroom toiletries. Also enjoyed meeting the cat who came to greet us!

We were aware of the hilly nature of Dunedin before we came, and of the steps down to the property which we are warned about by the hosts in the listing. Might be a good idea to mention the steps up to the toilet too. We had no problems, but being in our 60s and 70s we had to be very careful!
The hill to shops and town was too steep for us to do the walk. We would have loved using the terrace if there had been a little table and chairs available. A chest of drawers or suitcase rack in the bedroom would also have been a great help.

We loved everything about it , we loved it so much we have canceled or trip up north and are coming back to Dunedin.

The beds were very comfortable. Nice sunny accommodation relatively close to the city center. Good kitchen.

The hosts are very helpful and available without invading your privacy. The house is fully equipped and very quiet. You're very close to the city center without having the noise and business at all.

The property had plenty of space and a good kitchen and bathroom. Also had a very nice outlook onto bush land and hardly noticed the road below the property.
The property has a slightly odd configuration and floors were a bit uneven, but taking in the age of the building probably normal.
Could have put some info about the stairs in the property details as one of the travellers had a knee operation which made it a little awkward to get down.

Property was on a quite street but still close enough to walk to things. Place was clean and very big. Lots of good tips and ideas for the area provided.

There were 4 large spiders in the appartment that freaked out my wife and made the stay less comfortable. Spider webs on the chair. Also, would have been nice to have tea available. The tea pot was also dirty.

Location of the toilet meant that you could hear the flushing and water traveling through pipes at night in one the bedroom

The property is fairly priced and the location is a convenient 15 min walk to central Dunedin. The bathroom is modern and well fitted out. The TV and Wifi are great.
We were disappointed with the property. It felt a little rundown. We found the beds uncomfortable and the house smelt damp. All 3 of us tripped over the step leading to the kitchen - take care. The cutlery and crockery provided was sparse and the frying pan was unusable. There were only three dining chairs but the house was supposed to accommodate four.
