convenient location close to perfect beach area (just about 5-10 minutes) with no long low tides distance. very polite and helpful staff. there are disco nights. as for me it’s an advantage. it may be too noisy for some people - I had so active days that even loud music didn’t disturb me during the night. if you have a sensitive sleep earplugs could help. there is a bar from the same owner at the beach line with several sun beds and umbrellas - for hotel guests is a special price for rent. very convenient (but it could be better to provide its renting for free 🙂)

not all rooms have a “sea view” though it’s written in description. It was my filter for searching a place but finally I had a construction site view. regards other positive moments had smoothed it.

Nice room, double balcony, all is new and working properly. Clean place at the rooms. Friendly workers.

At night it is too dark to walk around alone. The sea view is too far. It is not front beach. It is 80-100 mts from the beach.

Excellent value for money, our room was lovely, super clean with a great view of the sea from our top floor. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - very friendly and welcoming. amazing club on Sunday and Wednesday - very loud music until 4am and floods with people but the hotel make sure you’re aware of it before you come

No full English breakfast as stated in the details, only option is fresh fruit and eggs which were nice - they should correct the hotel details.. The hotel is really a club with rooms, very quiet and isolated when it’s not club night. Most restaurants and hotels to get out and be around other people are along the beach which isn’t safe to walk along after dark.

Stunning place with lovely people. A colorful and decorated place and tastefully decorated down to the smallest detail. Cool atmosphere and of course the hotel has the most worthwhile parties on the island. I really enjoyed staying at the place.

only positive thing to say is that Coccobello is located on a small road that leads to one of the nicest beaches in Nungwi

Coccobello is massively overpriced, both the hotel, food, etc. Staff is rude and the rooms feel dirty. can’t recommend anyone staying there.

absolutely everything. the staff are awesome, the place is really chill, the music. this is really like Jamaica in zanzibar. everyone is cool. the beach is 3min walk. the club is on fire twice a week from 11-4am. the music is really loud so if you’re not into that, don’t go there. we loved it. it’s close to all other hotels and restaurants and activities.

not about the property but the beach: so many beach boys bothering you every 30s so be prepared for that.

It's a lovely colorful place and my room had a great style and terrace..perfect for reading and relaxing. Very clean overall. The staff is great and very helpful, very friendly and all speak English very well. The owners are also amazing and I really reccomend the place. It's quite easy to get to the town center and the beach area. I felt safe in the area even in the night. Cocco Beach bar is also a must! Good vibes and good music, close to the hotel. Prices are fair for food, and the food is delicious. The Coccobello parties are great! Good value for money. I would return.

Room is quite hot with no AC. It can be a challenge when it's extremely hot. The fan is helpful though. No fridge in the rooms.

i only liked that for the first evening they put me a considerably cheaper (no compensation of course) but better establishment

i didn’t like that they identify themselves as a party place rather than accomodation, making terrible noise 2x a week; loads of mosquitoes in the bungalow; no aircon for such an elevated price. after a terrible second night I moved to a place which was excellent (aircon, beautiful pool) for the same price.

Like every single thing. From the decor to beds, staff, location and above all great party on Sunday night. The owner and the manager Ezekiel were always there taking care of the guests. They have their own bar at the beach which is just a min walk from the hotel. Even it's right in the start of Nungwi so you don't need to go more inside the town.

we enjoy our stay a lot. they do big parties. all the staff are friendly. the rooms are clean and confortable. the location is perfect, near the beach, 5 min walking to the restaurants. 20min walking to the center of the village

you have to know that on wednesday and sunday nights they do big parties until late and the music is loud. the price of the bar inside the hostel is quite expensive.

Very noisy rooms, overpriced taxi ride to hotel, overpriced food, unhygienic rooms - found someone's deodorant left in it during the second day of my stay. Pillows were also super unhygienic! Room was stated as sea view in the description but this was misleading - barely any view was visible of the ocean. Book elsewhere if you want quiet and hygiene.
