We had a wonderful view from our bedroom balcony, as you do from most of the hotel. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a brilliant selection, all was tasty and freshly made. The cocktails are also excellent. The pool has lots of loungers available and, again, a great view. Off-season the pool bar wasn’t open, but the staff doesn’t stop you enjoying a few brought-in drinks. The location was great, it’s in a very nice and quiet part of Dubrovnik. Twas easy to get in/out of Old Town. There are lots of lovely restaurants and bars on the waterside walk (along the ‘cliff’) that I recommend going for a walk and enjoying a few drinks by the water.

Children playing ball games in the pool when clearly not allowed and no one enforcing the rules.

Pool was cramped with limited space and no access to a beach.

Beautiful airy, cool, clean rooms; we had a balcony with an excellent view of the sea, and it felt very private too; bathroom excellent with good water pressure in the shower. Staff are amazing, friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Food was excellent and the restaurant well run.

Not much we didn’t like but a couple of minor quibbles: The bed was two singles pushed together which some may like but we don’t. It was super comfortable though! The beach bar pumped out loud music until midnight every night which got quite tiresome. And the hotel owned waterside sunbathing area next to the beach did smell a bit drains sometimes. But that was it.
