Shama Asoke is in a great location, with a 7-11 conveniently nearby and a big gym, which was a nice bonus. The general staff were very friendly and welcoming.

While the women at reception were exceptionally kind and helpful, the man who checked me in had a strange attitude and could have been friendlier. He wasn't particularly welcoming and made the interaction feel strange.

Check-in counter staff attitude. I was given a run-down room on a high floor that had nothing to do with what was advertised on the website and had a musky smell. Upon explaining the issue to the staff, stating that the room is in no part similar to the one I usually have at level 10, the staff replied that she did not know the status of every room in the hotel.

It has a great location, and the staff managing the buffet breakfast is very friendly.

I was given a room on a very high floor that had nothing to do with the room I am used to having on the 10th floor. The room had a distinctive smell of moisture - fungus and looked rundown. Upon visiting the staff at the check-in counter, she was rude, stating that she did not know what all rooms looked like. I have been a frequent visitor to the hotel for many years, and it keeps passing from one managing team to another and is degrading.

Value for money. Walking distance from a BTS station. Welcoming reception front desk and extremely friendly staff at the breakfast restaurant

Stepping out of the bath tub can be dangerous as the bath tub is very high from the floor. Very poor lighting in the bathroom. House keeping come to clean the room around 3 PM only
