We loved the decor of the rooms and hotel. The breakfast / breakfast staff were amazing !

We couldn’t sleep due to banging/kids screaming etc Our room was No13 and it was located on the ground floor near the lobby area so noise travelled and it was the main walkway for guest to use the spa, access tubs and lobby area. There was no privacy unless we closed the curtains as we were facing the hot tub area. Staff in Toms bar were very inexperienced. The service was terrible with not knowing the menus, to long waiting times for service. Everything was very scatty which lead to disappointing meals the two nights we stayed. It was very disappointing, compared to the breakfast staff who were so attentive.

Staff were fantastic. So helpful, couldn't do enough for you. Hotel itself was absolutely gorgeous, interiors were fabulous and both the bar and restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. Food was divine. Bedroom was gorgeous with an excellent view over the lake and had a balcony. Really cosy, friendly vibes throughout the hotel.

No availability online for hot tubs but 2 of the 3 were empty when we walked past.

I’ve been a few times and absolutely love the hotel. I genuinely couldn’t fault the facilities, the staff are extremely friendly, beds really comfy, room’s are fabulous and the ground’s are beautiful.

I was really let down this time with the service forgetting orders and getting them wrong. We had lunch for four in the bar and two people were given a meal and two left without anything by the time someone came back it had been teeny mins since those who did receive food had finished. At breakfast the next morning there were four from a table of twelve not served until everyone else was finished. also the robes in the room are tiny if you are above a size 8-10 they don’t fully close which is very disappointing and embarrassing.

Location was beautiful & hotel way styled beautifully. Definitely style over substance unfortunately. Style was the focus over practicality. Small example was no towel hooks or place to hang towels in bathrooms

Staff were very young & inexperienced. Service was not good. Had to constantly ask for things multiple times. Heat was broken in our room so it was extremely cold given the current weather. Staff did organise a small blow heater which took hours but was ineffective. Reception staff seems unapologetic bordering on rude when we complained about this. Outdoor pool was fab but the pebbles on the walk there are totally impractical

Beautiful decor and furnishings. Nice, tranquil setting. Loved the heated outdoor pool and children facilities. Large room with all mod cons.

Breakfast was a disappointment. Food was dry and lacking options. Table service could be more attentive. Hot tubs must be booked days in advance.

The staff were super friendly, in particular I would like to especially mention and thank, the activities staff member Kevin, who was very personable and really added to our stay. The same is true of one of the bar staff paddy who made us feel very welcome.It is a beautiful setting and a very relaxing environment.

Limited choice for evening meal menu, however there are plenty of options outside of the hotel for that.
