the property was lovely, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend and come back in the future.

The jacuzzi was out of use, one of the elevators was also out of order. whilst dinner was superb and delicious, breakfast was a little underwhelming. Showering or having a bath was not great due to an off or weird smell coming from the water. Both my friend and I noticed this in our room and the showers in the spa/swimming changing room. Water pressure was very low at times too which felt hard to water in our rooms.

Breakfast was not very hot ,it was nice but would have been much better if the buffet was kept hotter,tea& coffee very good though

Staff were wonderful! Rooms were spotless. Girl at the pool was so lovely letting my daughter have a little look at the pool before we intended to go down.

We had a.meal at the restaurant the first night of our stay. Chips were so hard and my husband's burger was not great either. Very expensive when this was the case. This is why we didn't eat here the second night . We loved the hotel but this did let it down a bit for us as we usually eat at the hotel in the evenings.

noisy, people talking in the corridor very late at night, not bothering at all about other guests. they woke me up and I had to tell them off to stop.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the rooms were a very good size.

The mattress was poor, caved on one side and there was an open packet of biscuits on the tea tray.

My family and I had a great time at Great National Hotel Ballina. The rooms are big, very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful 24/7 reception. Pretty good stylish bar/bistro with good food and affordable prices. Swimming pool is fantastic, well kept and optimal temperature. There’s also a gym. Hotel surroundings are quiet. Good reception area. WiFi was fine. Gigantic free parking area. Good (irish) breakfast. Overall it is a nice hotel and was better than what I expected. I recommend it and hope I can stay there again some day.

Swimming pool closing time on weekends at 6pm :( Would be nice if could stay open longer.

Friendly and helpful staff. Location is very good Dinner in restaurant was excellent.

Breakfast was very poor particularly the hot food trended to be tastless. If I stayed again I would go out for Breakfast.
