Everything, starting by the staff which was not greeting even a single guest when they arrived at the hotel. Check-in manners were by far the worst from all my travels to Japan. The room and the bathroom were super small, for a moment I thought I was in Korea when I saw the faucet. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I ever slept in my life! We woke up with so much pain and tired. So we only slept there 1 night instead of the 3 (initially planned) and we looked for another hotel for the rest of the stay. They really take advantage that they're conveniently situated in Shinjuku even though there are some other places better located.

location was great near all the restaurant and the room was good for the price as well, under the hotel there's a cafe with breakfast options.

no breakfast offered by the hotel, the room was quiet small - only carry on would fit.

It's 20 minutes by walk to Shinjuku Station.

This hotel has damp smell as soon as you enter. I was given a smoking free room but it reeked of cigarettes and on top there was mould eveywhere in toilet, they have tried to cover it with paint etc but its all showing behind shampoo wall hangings and around the bath. Horrible smell and sight, not worth the price !!! The toilets are really old and the bidet didn't work. Honestly do yourself a favour and book a APA hotel nearby, they are similar price but so much cleaner, updated and nice.

Location is good. Very convenient just beside the train station.

Location is great. Right next to subway line and short walk to the main area of Shinjuku. Room clean.

Room extremely small. Think this is to be expected in Tokyo for a budget room.

Cold AirCon. Steps away from E & M Tokyo Metro lines (well, up a couple flights of stairs from the station). 2+ 7-11's, 1 McDonald's and a Lawsons (Amazon Japan pickup location) around the corner, all with with 100 metres. A nice place with fast elevators and great room service (I was on the 11th floor). 15 minute walk from upscale mall (through a small, nice sidewalk past the Subway (restaurant). A Don Quixote and Ramen place 18 minute walk.

Had to fix the toilet myself as it would stay on after flushed.

Room and toilet are very small compared to other hotels. Towels are not clean, there were either hair, dirt, lipstick stain or yellow stains. The hot water from the tap is somehow murky throughout our 5 nights.

The room has everything necessarily in it despite it's small size. Location is convenient with convenience stores just right beside. There is also a 711 across the road. Train station is just beside too. There's a nice kebab food truck outside the hotel at night. Super friendly, helpful and accommodating staffs! Awesome stay and will definitely be back again.

The main control air-conditioner only has hot air for this cold season, so if the room is too warm you'll have to open the window for the cold air to come in. Could be an issue for light sleepers as the noise from the road will be loud. This seems the norm as another hotel we stayed in also works the same. Thankfully they provided extra pillows when i requested. Help to block out the noise by having pillow over my head.

the location was excellent, the subway, pubs and restaurants very close. Really good staff, the bed was confortable.

The room is very small but the location is perfect for travelers. They are not vacuuming the floor per day

Very quiet and private. Pyjamas and slippers provided. Cleaned to a good standard and easy to access facilities such as laundry. Lift access to all floors.

Rooms are very small for 2 people. You can't leave 2 large suitcases open as then there is little floor space. BUT I still think it's good value, you have everything you need.

location is great, 10 steps to Higashi station entrance.

room cleanliness was bad, saw a couple of leftover earbuds beside our bed *disgusting* I purposely move the bed out so the used earbuds can be seen clearly for 2 day continuously yet housekeeping never pick it up. very disappointing for the room hygiene. room size are small, if you have 2 large size luggage open up, you have no room to move around. the price you paying can have more option to choose in Shinjuku.
