The location of this apartment is great for a stay in Montepulciano and has a wonderful view.

The first challenge is that the door to the apartment doesn't actually close or lock. Although the door to the building locks and I was the only guest during the stay, it is odd to have to keep chairs in front of the door to keep the apartment door closed. The host was out of town and sent a friend to take a look but he agreed the host should fix the issue. Additionally mid-way through my week-long stay, the host asked me to pay full in cash for the property. I thought this was odd as one usually pays at the end of a stay and not in the middle. Also, it is not really clear on booking.com that you need to pay in cash at the property and it is a considerable amount of money to get from an ATM. It would be good if that policy can be in bold when you book the reservations. Given that I stayed in a few apartments while I was in Montepulciano that I felt were better managed, I probably wouldn't return here.

The room that we got was not the same as on foto booking.com. It was smaller and not the same as advertised.

beautiful design with a lot of attention to detail

My husband and I can not say enough nice things about this place!! The room was gorgeous and spacious! The owner was the best and so hospitable! He went above and beyond to make our trip relaxing, fun and effortless!! Would highly recommend!!

A very nice room, well located

Payment in cash is mandatory, we were not correctly informed and the manager was extraordinarily rude and unpolite. His partner was very nice and tried to avoid any conflict. There were a moment that Marco wanted to call the policy… can you believe it?

Location, air conditioning, refrigerator, good bed but overall Ahmed. He was so helpful, he offered help and advice in restaurants, shopping and got us a taxi to go to the station, we were able to text back and forward with questions and he answered right away, he made a great difference.

Furniture somehow outdated

except in corona times we are traveling frequently and we are always striving for a very special accommodation, We cab say, this was the best we ever had. La corte segreta was something extraordinary, designed with passion by Marco and Laura our host. We travelled with a Fiat 500 and it was no problem for parking, not sure if it works also so smoothly with a big car. The breakfast was in an old caffe with a spectacular view.

Very nice decor and the owner was very friendly. Very close to a grocery shop as well as cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops. The parking is nearby - the owner will help you find it!

It would be great if there was some air con. It also gets a little dark.

Breakfast. It's in an super nice traditional Cafe with amazing views and delicious pastries, but the breakfast included was a different menu than for regular customers. Cold small pancakes and cold hard toasts. Not like the rest of the experience at la corte segreta!
