Loved the dining room in the conservatory, the kitchen was updated and funcational. Bedding was comfortable.
Bathroom tile and shower needed updating. Fridge/freezer too small and one shelf broken. Plus it wasn’t turned on when we arrived and we did. It notice into the next morning resulting in us having to throw out some food.

Very nice location. Lovely wooden home found everything there. Amazing open kitchrn with sitting room. And clean washroom and bed rooms. Very polite and well mannered staff.
Almost everything was perfect except beds. Double bed was good but single beds in small room were not comfortable. Need to change their mattresses.

From the very first turn into the resort, it was beautiful. So peaceful and relaxing. The chalet itself was brilliant. Everything we needed and more. Perfect! The staff were exceptional. They were so so friendly. Just brilliant!! The ducks waking us up in a morning was special indeed. Never realised how much our family liked ducks
LOVED EVERYTHING

Beautiful and peaceful location to stay. The glass conservatory was an amazing place to sit and spend time.
Would love to have the opportunity for onsite evening meals or lunches.

The location was great and the facilities were fun as we were with children and used the pool and tennis court and table tennis - very friendly staff
Nothing really

Nice staff the cabin was clean new toilet .
Musty smell in the very dark accommodation.
Bathroom smelled heavily of dampness at one point must have suffered a serious escape of water.
Bar closed at 9 pm.
The whole place needs money spent on it.

Chalets are within a woodland setting. Easy to get to by car
Chalets were much closer together than it looks in the photos. There are ‘porch’ type areas in each chalet and these are floor to ceiling windows where the dining table are, you are looking at neighbours when in these areas, not very private at all and no curtains etc on this part. Shower was lukewarm at best same with kitchen sink, had to boil kettle just to get water hot enough to do dishes in. Within the single beds bedroom, the blind chain secure was broken, so there was a long hanging blind chain beside one of the beds in which a child would sleep. This is such a strangulation hazard and this alone has ensured we won’t be back in future. Inside chalet is wooden panels in which paint was chipped and peeling off. On whole the chalet was requiring updating.
We’re were there for 2 nights and on the first morning we had a knock at the door for an electrician to do a electric appliance inspection in the kitchen - a bit much when the chalet was empty the day before.
After 5pm check in and you have to check out at 9-10am. A lot of hanging about on day of arrival and busy morning day of departure.
Chalet was cold, even with electric heaters on - it was advised that charges are in place for use of electric. Immersion heating was not on in chalet, we had to do this ourselves with no instructions in the chalet to do so.
A big lake on site with children swings nearby, not the safest!
All in all, we won’t be back again. Reception didn’t even ask how our stay was when leaving and just asked my husband the chalet number and advised that was him checked out.
Not great service, not great chalet and not much that would want us to recommend to others. Would definitely not book again.

Geographical situation
Tired decor and right next to another cabin also dinning area looking straight in next cabin bedroom!
Cabin next to me stayed only one-night but was glad to get away, felt the same.
Booked in advance and paid so used the cabin as a place to sleep only! Very disappointed!!
Axcept what it is but McDonald's name hotels not looking after visitors.
Bar closed at 9 pm and very expensive for what they served.
Will not recommend this place to anybody.

Everything was spot on. Friendly staff, clean facilities and accommodation... even the ducks in the loch were really welcoming! Great value for money too, will definitely be back.

Lodge was clean and well equipped for self catering holiday. Ideal for people sharing. The location was great for being able to explore the surrounding area - car is essential. The lodge is slightly tired and could be improved with re-decoration. However, this wasn’t an huge issue and was expected plus for the price we paid it represented excellent value for money. We would happily stay here again.

Lovely lodges, perfect for our family with everything you need for a great stay. Kitchen was well equipped, comfy beds with plenty of pillows and bedding. Great setting in the woods with a lovely loch, there is so much wildlife especially ducks with their ducklings which the kids loved to see. Nice play park and pool. Perfect location for Landmark and surrounding activities.

loved the locality, simply breathtaking! loved shower pressure.
just a bit run down…chair seats worn & torn on dining set.

Lakeside walk and play area for kids, nice coffee in bar. Access to Aviemore MacDonald soft play for a fee and free swimming there as pool closed on site.
Pool closed and no food available.

Great Cabins for families, liked the location and safety of the resort for kids.
Pool was closed and no food available.

The location. daughter loves the pond with the Ducks and was excited to see frogs and a Pea Hen.
wasn’t as clean as it could have been. Number of cobwebs identified that was indicator of lack of attention to detail.
7.0
Self catering - facilities as anticipated, a little more tired but reflected in the price. Kitchen facilities/tv were of a higher standard than expected. Location was fantastic and the resort was peaceful and well maintained.
The pool wasn’t in use and the buildings are a bit tired though homely enough for what we needed.
7.0
Peaceful, natural surroundings. Staff friendly. Good for family - self catering and more space.
Unfortunately pool was closed during our visit but staff arranged guest access to the pool at their sister property.
Property is older so looking a bit tired in places, but pricing seems to reflect this so wasn't an issue for us.
Cabin was very cold when we arrived - needed a few hours to warm up before it was comfortable.
Self catering staples not provided (e.g. nothing in salt and pepper shakers)
Dining space a bit cramped in conservatory.
8.0
Peaceful location and very clean although a little tired.
Excellent, friendly and helpful staff.
That the pool was closed and that there was no restaurant on site.
8.0
Nice comfortable stay, good base for exploring Inverness and Aviemore, plenty of wildlife around the lodges.
Lodges a bit tired and dated. In need of being being renovated, hot water pressure poor, shower leaking from headset and pressure not great, steam room dirty and needs cleaned. Mold marks on wooden cladding in bedroom that needs addressed.

Nice place to fish, in need of some sort of food even if it's just fish and chips, pie and peas just a few meals even a small selection of frozen stuff
Great place in Need of some tlc, great staff but the place needs some money spending on the units and surroundings
