Very big flat with big balkonies and 2 bathrooms

Nice location close to a beautiful and super kids-friendly part of the beach and a 15 min walk from the old town. Big, comfortable bed rooms (two of them with air condition). The apartment is clean and pretty with a big balcony (without the nicest view, though). Handy parking space in the basement, but I wouldn't rent the biggest car.

The check-in was delayed due to some misunderstanding. Also, the power supply was bad, so we lost electricity many times. Balancing the use of air condition, washing machine, kettle, dish washer and so on was a quite tricky.

Awsome apartment to rent in Alghero. 4 minutes to the beach, 10 min slow walking to the old town. The place is bigger then what it seems in the pictures and is located in a quiet side street with a nice balcony. The rooms are big and are seperated from the livingroom with a door, so there's no problem sleeping even though there are people in the livingroom. Two of the rooms have AC, the third one keeps cold enough because of good AC in general in the apartment (was around 30 degrees celcius outside during our stay) There's also two big bathrooms, which was a surprise. There's an awsome grocery shop 1 minute walk from the apartment where you can get everything that you need, from fresh italian cheese, ham and salami to great wine and all the other essentials. The host, Antonella, was fantastic! Positive, easy going, honest and easy to deal with. She also gave us a lot of tips for Alghero, which btw is an awsome small city with nice beaches, and was happy to help with everything we asked. Would recommend the place and the host 10/10 times, hope we'll be back. BTW: Don't use taxi's to get from the airport to the beach, use the bus. You can buy bus tickets at a machine in the airport. The taxidrivers are straight up hustlers, so avoid them at all costs.

The host, Antonella, was extremely helpful, waiting for us into the night, helping us with things to do and booking tables at restaurants while we were out and about. The location is very good, close to both the beach and the center, while being away from the noise of the main street. It offers and underground parking garage where we could keep our rental car without fear of damage or parking fines. The property is clean and well equipped, with AC in most rooms, quality showers, dishwasher and clothes washer. The coffee machine was highly appreciated.

There seems to be an issue with the power going out seemingly at random - sometimes we could have all the ACs on, the boiler, washer and hairdryer working, without issue. Other times it would trip just by using the hairdryer and one AC. There was no change of linen or towels in the 10 days we stayed there, nor was there any cleaning offered or possible (no vacuum cleaner available). Also the toiletries have not been refreshed (we had to buy our own from the supermarket). Some of the furniture feels dated or worn out. Two of the ACs collect the condensation in plastic bottles that have to be emptied every day, otherwise they spill on the balcony and street below.

Everything was perfect!

It's a spacious modern-looking apartment on the 1st floor, a 3 mins walk to the beach. It's well situated so that it doesn't sit on the sunny side to get hot inside, and even so it does have air conditioning in two of the bedrooms. You have an equipped kitchen and free wifi and Netflix on TV. Loved the multidirectional showers. Also the fact that you have a big supermarket right on the corner makes a big difference. The host Antonella was just great, extremely friendly and helpful with lots of information, thank you Antonella, hope to see you soon again !
