The rooms were clean and comfortable in a separate building to the side of the pub. It was a pleasure to enjoy the bar and it's homeliness before retiring to bed.

Nice country pub with good food and ale.

Booked a double and was fobbed off with a twin. Proprietor tried to wriggle out of it not appreciated. Room carpet was filthy. (1)

One of the rooms smelt really strange.

Very friendly people and made me feel very welcome would recommend this to anyone who just wants to shut off and relax and the kids area was brilliant for my little boy all round good stay

The walk to the shop was a mission but to be honest I chose to be away from that anyway it was time away from amenities

Lovely staff and bar and roast dinner. We were able to have 2 children's portions which was cheaper than sharing z main roast dinner as we have small appetites.

The staff were lovely everyone was super friendly. We had food in the evening and it was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was excellent.

The only thing that probably can’t be helped is the noise that the pipes make when you flush the toilet.

Everything. Friendly welcome, shown to room and given details about breakfast in the morning. Ensuite room very comfortable and clean. Good choices for breakfast and attentive, affable staff. Restaurant was open when arrived and a good selection of food available. Free spacious parking.

When you are staying on the ground floor, you hear every noise from above. I don't think this can be helped though as it's an old building

Location : middle of nowhere - shower cubicle is very bad. worst shower ever seen. also to start breakfast at 7.30 is not good for anyone going to work

I like the outdoor terrace and playground. I like the bar area as it looks like old and I liked the staff. they were friendly.

The bathroom and corridor should be bit cleaner.
