Location is absolutely amazing. the view from the balcony is just stunning and definitely best enjoyed first thing in the morning when it is so incredibly peaceful…then later in the afternoon whilst people watching across the marina. The apartment was super clean, well equipped, great free parking and the lady who met us was so incredibly helpful.

We didn’t realise that every bar underneath would have live music and they were all fighting with one another for the loudest volume till 3-4am!!! But we can’t really complain as they were there first and we’d still return!

Location is excellent - this is a very loud part of the Marina so don't stay here if you want any sleep at all before 4am. Seriously. The cleaning lady who arrived the next day was lovely and a perfect example of good hospitality, she offered to help with bags and displayed good customer service.

Noise levels - seriously loud music. You will not sleep in this apartment before 4am any night. When we asked a number of times, the company kindly changed our apartment for another quieter apartment in Quarteira as we did not sleep at all on the 1st night due to the noise coming from the Irish Cabin bar. It was like sleeping over a nightclub. We were pre-scheduled to arrive late and had arranged a late pick up (which costs 25 cash) and our 5 year old was sleeping when we arrived so we had 1 X 20 kg case and a smaller bag to carry with a sleeping child. The person we met to collect the key was not the most hospitable person...she really didn't seem to care at all that we had a sleeping child to carry and a suitcase, her interest was the 25 cash and her comment about late arrival. (I had text her from the airport from FARO airport to say that we were on the way and we were on track) We gave her 30 cash. Because we were given a different apartment to stay it made up for all of the above, however, I advise anyone who stays here not to book it unless you are only going to bed at 4am as that's when the loud music stops. The balcony looks out over the Marina where were normally stay each year in a much quieter house, however, I would advise the company to consider reinforcing the fence as one could easily fall out over the balcony or worse. It was a very clean apartment so no concerns about that. Not suitable for children or older people with knee injuries as there are lots of steps and no lift.

Excellent location right in the middle of everything in the marina. Great amount of space with open plan living, dining, kitchen. Lovely balcony overlooking the marina. Good sized bedrooms with plenty storage. Nice bathroom with nice powerful shower. Everything you would need in the kitchen, and a nice big fridge freezer. Jafers supermarket close by for supplies.

Some may not like the noise from bars and restaurants, being so close to the action in the heart of the marina, but this didn't bother us at all.

the location was amazing. couldn’t be more centrally located.

the noise can be quite loud at night but it didn’t bother us at all but bear in mind if you are a light sleeper
