Very nice room, well equipped and with excellent sound-proofing. The hotel has great decorations throughout lobby, restaurant. Conveniently located near pool/beach and Friederikshaven

The restaurent offers very refined food menu but the the setting is rather dull: there is a garage nearby and the walls could have been decorated to match the high quality of the food in the outdoor area. The new extension is a bold statement but we're not sure it works so well

Our room was modern, quiet, and very clean. It was small for three people for 6 nights, but very affordable. The staff is courteous and friends. The restaurant it excellent...a destination meal for dinner.

It is right on a main thoroughfare (fair amount of car traffic) and somewhat distant from the central part of Friedrichshafen.

Close to things we wanting to see.

Pricy room for cheap furnishings. Ceiling in room & stairs just unfinished concrete. Little upkeep for them.

The architecture is absolutely beautiful, and the facilities themselves were very well done and managed. The staff were very friendly, spoke our language, and made us feel tremendously welcomed, especially the restaraunt staff! In warmer seasons, there is a beach very close just left of the hotel when facing the Bodensee, and there was a public parking area for the weekends close to hotel to the right that was a 5 minute walk away.

The hotel staff must have switched the hotel room reservation I had placed with another couple in our party, but did no change the charged amount. Also, there was no parking. I understand in the responses that hotel staff say, "We are looking forward in the future to our underground parking area", but from what I saw, that project seemed very far from finished. There was no unloading and loading areas listed from the road, so many guests were mistakenly parking private parking spots across the street from the hotel. The breakfast was tremendously overpriced for what was offered. Typically in any other 4 star hotel that I have stayed in, they would offer a large buffet for guests, or have much cheaper food costs than what we paid for. Also, our room was around C 35 in October, and we were unable to adjust the internal temperature. Perhaps it was heat from the sauna nearby, which should mean that the inner walls need much better insulation.

Very nice service and contact with the hotel staff. Stayed in renovated room and enjoyed the style and tidyness. Breakfast was fantastic.

The room was - for our sentiment - too warm. As there are renovation works in the patio there was some noise in the morning but not too disturbing.

There wasn't much to like about the room if there was anything it was that it was located on the first floor and had some air conditioning. The location to the swimbad and beach is good also the bus is right outside the door.

Well it was small for 200 euro a night. The air conditioning was less than adequate and the refrigerator did not work. The beds and pillows were simply not comfortable. Also we paid for breakfast and due to COVID no buffet which is understandable but you would think that eggs and more than one cup of coffee would be included in the price but no, eggs and bacon addition 4.50 euro. Addition coffee, water, juice, etc extra just not right. Also the breakfast you did get was simply not worth 14 euro. We ask 3 times about the refrigerator and it was never fixed again lack of concern.
