Luxury 3-Bedroom Home In Heart Of Portland Near Everything
Rilassati in un condominio a due piani arroccato sopra la strada. Guarda i colibrì che fluttuano tra gli alberi e gli hipster passano sulla strada sottostante. Dormi sonni tranquilli in nuovi letti e blocca la luce con pesanti tende. Quindi sogna le ciambelle Blue Star. Fantasticare su Waffle Window pollo fritto e waffle. Crave Tove birra fredda. Pino sopra soffici sammiches di biscotti Hazel Cafe. Cammina fuori dalla porta principale della tua casa di 2.000 piedi quadrati sul famoso Hawthorne Blvd, la tua food court della città!

Le camere sono nella quiete del terzo piano e sul retro del secondo piano. Ognuno ha il suo carattere spazioso. Tutti i nuovi materassi e biancheria da letto rendono più semplice colpire più volte prima di uscire in strada ogni mattina.

The location is amazing! Walking distance to so many restaurants we loved and two parks for our pup and baby. The house itself was very nice, and had everything we needed and more. So many games and books to look at and play, a nicely stocked kitchen with ziploc bags, pots and pans, and utensils. Host was responsive to messages. One of the best rentals we’ve ever stayed in.

I came up to Portland to visit with some friends and go to the TPK brewery. Communication with the host was easy and clear. The rental is in a perfect location, within walking distance of a never ending list of great restaurants and bars. Everything we needed was provided by the host and had no issues during our stay. The location was amazing for exploring Hawthorne and the surrounding area. We stayed with our two little kids and dogs. Comfortable stay, nice and clean, with great communication from the host and seamless self serve check in and out. Would definitely recommend.

Overall, this unit (top 2 floors in a house with 4 units) is super nice, w/a great layout for 3 separate sleeping areas, fantastic water pressure and tasteful decor. The location is near one end of the busy Hawthorne neighborhood, with great food and amenities right outside your door. If all goes smoothly, you’ll have a great stay there.
We, however, had some glitches that really impacted our stay. I’ve been using VRBO since the late 90s and this was a first. There was a mixup with the cleaners initially (not Jacob’s fault), which was quickly remedied while we went out to dinner by a lovely cleaning staff. The very old door, with some original hardware, had been recently painted and required a pretty hefty hip check to enter. It then completely broke during a heatwave, and after a long walk, locking us out for 3+ hrs w/no way to reach the owner or alt contact. This wiped me out so much I forfeited tickets to a family event that night, including seeing the aurora borealis for first/only time. This was a real disappointment. There is also a huge construction project next door, with large machinery active from 7am on weekdays. I wrote to ask about this prior to our trip and was told that construction was finished and wouldn’t impact our trip. There is also currently no deck on the front of the house, so the front door is the only access to the outside.
I think we had a series of unfortunate events that are unlikely to happen again to anyone. I seriously do recommend this unit

Quick getaway for the weekend to visit our daughter who is attending OSU and was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to walk out the front door and have access to so many wonderful shops and restaurants. The Cuban restaurant across the street is a MUST! We marked this as a favorite and will make sure to visit again.

Our family of five absolutely loved this beautiful house in a very cool neighborhood. Location was super convenient as it is close to the airport as well as near great restaurants. We got in late and appreciated ordering take out from the Cuban restaurant across the street… and eating it in the well decorated dining room. Plenty of sleeping arrangements for our tall teens and the property manager was very responsive and accommodating. We will be choosing this property again when we return to the area.

We really enjoyed our time here. We were 4 adults—two in their 20s—and the house itself and the location were both terrific. The owners clearly have made efforts to make the stay both comfortable and memorable: great bedding, nice eco bath products, very cool decor, lots of books to borrow, games to play, ROKU enabled TV, guides to Portland, a thoughtful supply of kitchen spices, etc.
And Hawthorne Street is super fun, with everything you want within a few blocks: lots of restaurant options, groceries, yoga, coffee, independent stores, bars, great walkability to other cool neighborhoods, etc.
The only things that weren’t ideal were that there was a large construction project happening right next door, and the work started at 7-7:30am (weekdays) or 8am (Saturday). It was loud and unexpected.
This is also a shoe-free rental, which we didn’t know until after we booked it. It’s understandable: It’s a two-unit property, and this rental is upstairs, so the no-shoe policy keeps the noise at minimum for the people downstairs (maybe the owner?). And, well, shoes are dirty!
Yet … it’s cold in November in Portland! And having to take shoes off downstairs and walk up cold wooden stairs into a wood-floored apartment (there are area rugs in all the rooms), was definitely not as comfortable as we’d have liked.
Despite these things, we loved the space, the neighborhood, the care put into the space, and the helpful communication with the owner. I definitely recommend.

Great location, comfortable accomodations
We stayed here with a small group of friends for 5 nights and had a great stay. Jacob was very friendly and helpful. The unit is as pictured- comfortable, clean, and very well stocked. The location is great - tons of food and shops along Hawthorne, and a pretty 0.5mi walk south through a cute neighborhood to Division Street. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely stay in the heart of Portland
We had a lovely time. The host was very communicative and clear with the check in and check out process. Nine of us stayed there comfortably- eight of us sharing 4 beds and one on the futon. The host had an air mattress as well. Loved the location. Hawthorne is such a lovely area. Would stay here again!

This was our first trip to Portland and this house was perfect for us. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was ideal and close to many yummy places to eat and fun shopping. Jacob is an attentive host with a level of detail we appreciated. He has small labels on drawers and cabinets that are very helpful when looking for things. We'd go back to the house again without hesitation.

Great home base in awesome Portland neighborhood
We came here with a group of friends for a weekend in Portland and Jacob was extremely communicative and accommodating as our plans shifted and became more clear. I so appreciated his flexibility and prompt responses.
The place itself is great for a group with lots of room to sleep, a really cool old house style set up that has a lot of lovely touches and is in a GREAT location on Hawthorne for walking to shops and food. Highly recommend!

Got towed and top floor bedroom unbearably hot
The house was nice but we had to sleep on the couch since the top floor bedroom was unbearably hot. We parked the car on the side of the street without temporary parking restriction signs. In the morning, the signs were moved to our side of the street and our car was towed around the corner. I think this would be a fine place to stay when the weather is not hot (we stayed in June) and you communication about the parking was clearer. The property is in has great access to many shops and restaurants. Overall, could have been better.

There is nothing negative I can say about my entire experience with this property. From when I saw the listing to when I checked out, everything went amazingly well.
The property is at an amazing price, especially given its location and amenities. I could not believe how easy it was to pop outside and grab tacos, coffee, or a beer--all walking distance away.
The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful both leading up to and during the stay. No question was left unanswered, and the answers came very promptly and kindly.
Checking in and checking out was seamless, like on par with the ease of checking in and out of a hotel, maybe even easer.
There aren't many options when you want to find accommodations for a large party this close to the city, but even if there were, I would still highly recommend you just stay here. It doesn't get much better than this.

This place was beautiful and peaceful. So convenient and walking distance to amazing food carts, coffee at Tova, Aveda salon, farmhouse kitchen, Jam, blue star and also super close to downtown. We were there for business and family so it worked out perfectly. You cannot beat this location. Its very safe and lively. Good foot traffic and the trees surrounding the house made it so peaceful! It was clean as well and the upstairs suite is like its own suite and a great place if you are on a business trip. My husband and I both used the upstairs space as our office. :) We will definitely return!

Had a great stay, only thing we missed was when we rented we did not notice one bathroom, (too enthralled with the other parts of the home) . We managed but when you are used to multiple bathrooms it can get exciting with 6 adults and 2 children

Nice, but not quite as advertised...
10 of us booked the house and had to pay an additional travellers fee because there was 10 of us, despite the ad saying that the house accommodates 10 people. This had to be paid before we booked the house. Then we paid a non-refundable damage deposit, then a refundable damage deposit, then we paid mandatory third party insurance. Then we paid a cleaning fee, taxes and a service fee, all this on top of the actual cost for the apartment. After all this we were told that we had to pay yet another fee because there was 10 of us, despite having already paying the additional travellers fee. The price we paid ended up being far more than double the advertised price.
Only after we paid for everything did we found out that the house we were booking was not a 'whole house' as advertised. This is the top floor and attic of a house while the main floor is a separate apartment. There was a polite sign at the entrance reminding us to be quiet because there were people living below us.
Aside from these frustrations, the place was nice, clean and in a great neighborhood. We never saw the owners or whoever was living on the main floor.

Perfect location. Cute house. Only one bathroom but thankfully the toilet and shower are in separate rooms. They stock the foods you love ahead of time. Would stay here again!

Nice place, good location
Nice place in general. Note that it's above the owners, so no stomping around in your boots. Only complaint I had is that Hawthorne is pretty loud and the single pane windows don't do much to keep the noise down, so if you're a light sleeper, be advised. Also, since it was cold during our visit, the drafts from a poorly hung door to the deck are noticeable if you're watching the TV. Kitchen was great. beds comfortable, etc.

Beautiful property! Amazing location! Immaculate condition! Grand Slam!
We came with to stay at this wonderful home with three couples and we all had our own private room! Safeway grocery store is conveniently located as is great coffee, brunch, an amazing vintage clothestore, movie theater, restaurants and nightlife! On a scale of one to ten we unanimously gave our experience with the host and home a solid 1000! We would love to return! We highly recommend staying here! Thanks again to the host!

Great location and very convenient
Family of four and we took advantage of all 4 comfortable beds. Made for a great weekend stay. Our teenage kids loved the upstairs area as their eyes lit up as soon as they entered.
Overall a great experience. Thank you for the stay.
