location was very central, room was comfortable and staff were polite and professional.

two flights up without an elevator. not easy for travelers who have to lug their luggage.

Very centrally located in the old town,close to central pedestrian road with lots of shops cafes and restaurants.Christmas markets all around the area and perfect to explore the old town by foot.Bus stop from central station just a few steps outside the hotel.

No elevator but that was no problem for us.Breakfast was served until 9 which a little early for us when we are on holidays.

Door to the hotel closed at 8 and our key wouldn’t open the door. thankfully another couple was entering around the same time and let us in.

Location and comfort is unbeatable, no facilities like restaurant at the hotel but got everything next door like breakfast, restaurants, market, tourist locations etc. The location is the real deal. You feel like in your own hotel at evening.

Rooms have no water, blower, coffee, fridge. Can be little noisy on weekend nights.

We spend a lot of time driving to the location. We had to stop locals who actually had us follow them by car as they drove to the location. No elevator which made it very difficult for my elderly mother to climb the stairs to our room

Only checking before 8PM. The room was clean, but there was some "old plumbing" smell in the room.

Loved the room and the location was great being close so we could walk to everything.

The weather was quite warm and having more then one fan would have been nice but those temperatures were very unusual for Germany.

Excellent location, easy parking availability, on direct bus route. Breakfast was good, the staff were very helpful. Although situated on one of the main squares, there was no street noise from our room.

I could have done with a kettle in the room and an extra pillow.

Great location, helpful staff, very clean and I had a fan in my room for those warm nights.

Nothing negative

BREAKFAST is optional, therefore charged extra. It is an excellent German breakfast with a large selection of items and drinks, all served in a charming ground-floor room with an 18th C. feel and a traditional tiled 'Ofen' in the corner. ROOMS: Some (two?) rooms have a small balcony overlooking the Kornmarkt. Lovely!

Because we were at the Hotel Kornmarkt at a period of exceptionally high temperatures (33 to 37 degrees C.) the large fan supplied in the room was not sufficient to reduce the temperature for sleeping. This will NOT normally be a problem - and I am sure the owners would have offered more fans if we had asked. It would have been nice to have found a bottle of mineral water provided in the room, given the extreme heat.

Wonderful location! Very clean and picturesque with an amazing view from the window! Very close to a parking station and the teleferic leading to the castle.

The lack of elevator was kind of uncomfortable but it’s totally justified due to the traditional building

lovely old building in the heart of the city. large rooms, very comfortable beds and excellent showers. we booked a single and a double room and they put us next to each other which was perfect. no air con but a huge fan and the historic rooms stayed fairly cool. it was quiet in spite of being in a central location. good free WiFi. very helpful staff. nice and private. we didn’t have breakfast there. it’s served between 7-9am which is good as places out of the hotel don’t seem to open until much later. I sent emails with requests and they were answered immediately and everything I needed was provided.

It lacks a bit of atmosphere as it is so quiet but for me this really isn’t a dislike more of an observation.

Our rooms locate at top floor, its very hard for us old age people. this summer is too hot, the fan did not perform well at all.

Excellent location in town centre. Lovely clean room. They gave me a hairdryer when I asked & probably would have given me a kettle. I did not try the breakfast. the shower was great. I arrived after reception had closed and they allowed my daughter to collect the key on my behalf.

looks a bit tired inside, sheets and towels were in need of replacement, clean but threadbare. The plug hole in the shower tray didn’t empty as quick as it filled so you were stood in dirty water

Perfect location in the Altmarkt for a visit to this lovely town We had a triple room for 2 so plenty of space Breakfast well priced at 8€ ok but no more so we went out after the first day Communication with hotel prior to stay excellent 10€ a day for parking after hotel reduction very good value

The reception closes at 8pm so a bit soulless No lift (not a problem for us in our early 70s but as we get older.................) No place to sit on the ground floor when waiting for someone Breakfast only until 9am except Sundays Very small bathroom(I could just squeeze onto the loo), not a safe shower for older people (large step & nothing to hang on to, no rail no anti-slip carpet) Staff perfectly pleasant but not a lot of help for finding eg the tourist office
