amazing, the host, the place and the view were absolutely perfect!

Our room was massive (with a pool table that we took full advantage of playing), with lots of extras that my wife appreciated (luminescent make-up mirror, lots of hangars, lots of lights throughout the room, separate shower and toilet etc). Cesar prepared a tasty breakfast of a variety of hot tamales for breakfast. The receptionist didn't speak English, but she called her partner and we were easily able to sort out our arrival. Safe parking inside the receptionist area. Casa Corazon is up a hill in a residential area. Easy 15 minutes walk to historic center. We caught a taxi ($2.50 US) to return in the evening.

The coffee could be stronger, but all else was wonderful !

The area around the hotel is very quite and safe, room is big and was clean , staff is so friendly , breakfast is so good,

Only improvement area is the wifi might be is because the room I got is too far away from the wifi modem

Lugar pulcro, confortable y lindo

WOW, this was my favourite stay on my 4-week tour around Mexico, Guanajuato if you never been you MOST, now the apartment Amazing, I had the whole floor to my self, with sliding doors open to a heated pool by solar, great views of the city below, had a very hard job getting out of bed, as it was so comfortable and the sheets and quit so fresh, great breakfast served on the top patio overlooking the city, the owner was great and allowed us his cover parking space, could not do enough for us, uber just a 7 minutes ride to the city at night the best time to see it, 50 pesos,

Rooms - all large and comfortable with high quality bedding and everything you need. Our larger apartment had a big living room and a nice balcony. Both apartments had a big basket full of drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) which was much appreciated. Grounds - beautiful building and the terrace has amazing views over Guanajuato. The pool area also very nice if a little tight on space. The pool is not heated so be wary of going in unless nice and sunny. Breakfast - very, very good on both days. A selection of fruit, yogurt and muesli followed by tostadas and eggs on one day and quesadillas on the other. Both delicious. Coffee and OJ also provided and high quality. Host - very helpful and sent a lot of useful info about the city, the man who looks after the property is also very friendly. They allowed my girlfriend and I to check out a few hours late as our bus wasn’t until after the my family left - this was appreciated. Surroundings - there is a supermarket 5mins walk down the road and some good restaurants close by if you don’t want to venture into town. We ate in town both nights though.

It is quite a trek up and down to the centre of town but this is also what allows the property to be peaceful and have stunning views. The walk down is about 20mins and the walk up is closer to 30. We took Ubers during the evening and these were easy to get and pretty cheap (40$ one way).
