We had a great time with my husband and our son, my mom and my sister who has 2 small kids as well. Since we cooked every day, we loved the kitchen was well stocked with all the utilities you need and are used to from home. They didn't have a simple pan, but the owner took care of that immediately after we mentioned we would need it. At first, we were a bit sceptical because the house lies opposite a cemetery. But let me tell you, we hardly ever noticed it was there. The house is bigger than it appears on the pictures and you have 3 separate living units, each with its own bathroom. They have plenty of board games, a pool table, and a good quality TV. i wish i brought my chromecast with me, but we found cartoons for kids and that was all we needed. The host and his wife were really helpful and we had a lovely welcome waiting in the fridge. The property itself also has loads of charm. We brought our 2 dogs and they were free to roam around the property and enjoy themselves. It even has a traditional bowling court. it's not super fancy, the furniture in the bedroom is like 100yrs old, but i actually loved that rustic feel. They could invest in some better head pillows (i am a bit obsessed with them, so luckily i brought my own) but the others didn't seem to mind it. . All in all a fantastic and unique getaway! You won't get to see a house like this twice :)

I guess i didn't like the whole feel of the nearby town. I just didn't get that summery vibe that you get on the islands and further south. And the beaches were so crowded that we were all a bit shocked on the first day. But this has nothing to do with the property. Of all the beaches and we visited many nearby, i would recommend the nearest to the house. Next to the first hotel. But definitely not in high season. So don't choose this area if you want to enjoy the serenity of the summer. But if you are staying in the area, you should go to this house ;)
