Henry, Isis and Daniel were so easygoing and friendly that they felt like family. They accommodated our every want and need. It felt private. The air conditioner in the bedroom made for comfortable sleeping. Would consider returning in the future.

Isis and Henry were fabulous hosts. It’s a quiet and peaceful home. It is “10 miles north” and a very bumpy golf cart ride. I’d recommend renting a high quality golf cart with better suspension. We will be back!

We had an amazing stay! Very relaxing way to unwind after the hectic holidays. As others have mentioned it is a ways out of San Pedro but if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place. We were very very well taken care of by Henry and Izzy and look forward to coming back.

We enjoyed our stay there. The property was great and the staff really friendly. Only downside is the road getting there being in such a bad shape and necessary to get to anywhere, but nothing they can do about it. Water taxi might be a good option.

Peaceful, quiet away from the crazy night life of San Pedro. We spent 5 days away from it all. This house is about a 45 minute golf cart drive away from the airport in San Pedro. If your looking to be in the middle of the crazy night life and crowded downtown area this place is not for you. But if your looking for a nice, quiet retreat then look no further. The staff was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. Isis even cooked us a fish dinner one night with our daily catch. It was amazing! The Chat N Chill is a little restaraunt/bar area that is on the same grounds. Secret Beach is amazing and I would highly recommend going there for beautiful beaches. The Blue Bayou had amazing food with a laid back atmosphere. The beaches on the East side of the island were constantly covered in sea grass blowing in but you don't get that at Secret Beach. Highly recommend this unit for those looking to actually vacation and enjoy some downtime. A/C in the bedroom made for great sleeping!

This property is a great place to get away from the day to day and just stare in awe at the beauty surrounding you. My wife & I loved staying here. Now, it is a long haul from town (about 45 minutes on a golf cart, on a sometimes pothole filled drive), but the peaceful feeling you'll have relaxing on the porch, or in the pool, cannot be beat. There are enough local spots to hit up for food (check online for hours), but you also have the Chat & Chill to enjoy for a quick bite or drink (and the staff was top notch our whole trip - thanks everyone!). We can't recommend this property enough - IF you're looking to get away and have some peace and quiet. If you want to go into San Pedro, this place is a bit far away for a daily trip, in my opinion. But Secret Beach was an easy half hour away, the guest house was super comfortable, walking out on the pier to astound yourself with the star-filled sky, or just floating lazily in the pool, this place is fantastic.

This little beachfront casita was just what the doctor ordered. A quaint casita with a breathtaking view. The beach is literally your front yard. The view from the front porch looked like a postcard. We also loved having the pool to use since the seaweed was out of control. The staff was so nice and accommodating. Isis was a lovely host at the Chat n Chill each time we went down for a drink or a meal. We loved visiting with Henry each day. He was so friendly and always helpful when we had a question or needed anything. If seclusion is what you are looking for and you want to unplug and unwind....this is your place! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Gorgeous place to get away from it all!

I can’t say enough about the staff - always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The house and amenities were beautiful and well maintained. We were a bit disappointed by the sea grass but you can’t help Mother Nature. We loved being able to walk down the Chat N Chill for snack and games. We’ll be recommending this place to all of our family and friends.

We had the most wonderful time staying at this casita and enjoying all the amenities the property offered. We arrived at night but were welcomed with a delicious dinner and drinks at the Chat-N-Chill. The casita is a truly charming inside and out and is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed coffee on the porch and were happy to be greeted by Noodle the Goldendoodle many mornings. We planned to use our kitchen to cook in the mornings but soon realized it was a nice luxury to simply walk over and start our day with a hot and fresh breakfast. The property is pristinely maintained from the moment you turn in. There is plenty of seating, swings and games to that add to this beautiful property. We experienced the abundance of sargassum but that didn’t stop us from relishing the pool and white sandy beach areas. We enjoyed good food and company with the owners Jeff & Tamara and the other guest. We learned much about the island and life in Belize. Henry, Isis, Glendie, Balbina, and Adrian always greeted us with a smile and no request was too big or too small. They really go above and beyond to make your visit a memorable one. I love fresh coconuts and Henry happily delivered some to our casita and the ladies baked me cupcakes on my birthday, what a sweet surprise! We explored around the island on our golf cart during the day and returned in the evening to enjoy a relaxing dinner at the Chat-N-Chill. We were beyond happy with our time spent here and highly recommend to anyone looking to stay here, it will certainly add to your experience of visiting Ambergris Caye. We look forward to returning one day!

We escaped the cold weather for the perfect relaxing stay at the beachfront perfection casita. It was very clean and tidy and just as the photos advertise. The map location on HomeAway is accurate - it is in fact ten miles north of town (we loved being away from town, but if you are looking for nightlife every evening, the ride to town might wear on you) The road from town doesn't seem to be consistently maintained so the ride is slow - we were on island time so it wasn't an issue for us. The fact that we rented a cottage on HomeAway and ended up with a staff of 5 to care for our every need from carrying the luggage to serving cocktails on our porch and at the pool was a huge perk -we felt quite spoiled at the end of the week and did not want to leave. Highly recommended - ML

We highly recommend this rental it is comfortable and clean and just like the photos. We can't say enough good things about the owners and people working for them - Henry, Isis, Glendie, Balbina, and Adrian were all so kind and helpful. Mother Nature dumped a bunch of Sargassum on the island and the staff did everything possible to clean it up and make our stay enjoyable. The beach wasn't nice for swimming even with Henry and Adrian raking all day, so we lounged by the pool, played yard games at the restaurant (while eating yummy fish tacos and drinking margaritas) and took our golf cart north to explore the northern end of the island. We couldn't have asked for a better response to dealing with the Sargassum that was washing in (we appreciated the half off "Sargassum Specials" at the Chat & Chill Restaurant and hanging out at the beautiful pool with the owners super friendly Goldendoodle.) We look forward to returning again next year!

We had a wonderful week relaxing, fishing and swimming. The Casita is even more beautiful than the photos. The staff Henry, Isis, Adrian and Balbina made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The fishing was great off the end of the peer - we caught a lot of bonefish - even the small ones give a good fight. We also caught snapper and fried them up for dinner one night - YUM!!! We did not get a chance to meet the owners Jeff and Tamera but they were wonderful with directing us with where to get the golf cart and other helpful suggestions. I hope to meet them on our next trip.

We had an amazing week here relaxing on the beach! The casita is nicely done, most of the time we had the beach to ourselves, and the Chat-n-Chill restaraunt had delicious food at reasonable prices served by friendly staff. The staff made us feel at home and welcome the whole time! If you want a place to get away from it all and enjoy a warm Carribean beach with coconut palms but without crowds, this place is perfect! Because of the reef just offshore, there are practically no waves on the beach and the water is shallow a long way from the shore. Be sure to do some snorkeling - we did a guided snorkeling tour of the reef, and went just on our own 4 miles up the beach where the reef touches the shore. Be sure to rent a golf cart, we had a lot of fun with it, especially driving north up the beach "road"! We are already looking forward to our next trip!
