I liked everything about Europa plus the free breakfast was helpful! And I absolutely love Europas roof top!

The staff was very friendly and they want that you feel well during your stay. The beds were comftable, we had a good sleep during our stay. We slept in a 10th bedroom. The toilets and bathrooms were cleaned every day. The breakfast which was in included was delicious and the kitchen has everything what you need for cooking. They were very well organised especially with the own dishes/plates. You get it for your hole stay which was great. We also liked the lounge which was so relaxed and great equipped ( couches, Playstation 4, billiard...) The terrace on top was also awesome!And the location was awesome, close to CBD, victoria market or victoria libary. We enjoyed our time in the hostel.

Convenient location (CBD) - many restaurants, shops and attractions in the area, easy access to public transport (free tram zone); friendly staff; comfortable bed with private space. I was lucky with quiet neighbors and no noise from the street.

You have to cook breakfast yourself, because of this there is a big queue in the kitchen. A deposit is required for the use of kitchen appliances.

It had central air conditioning.Some Melbourne backpackers just have a few $20 fans scattered about and are absolutely stifling.

I realize they can’t have made much money through the pandemic,but a bit more maintenance needs to be done.It was expensive for what you got but that’s modern Aussie for ya,$$$$$$$+

Such comfortable beds, had a mattress topper which was great. Good location and near transport.

No toilets or bathrooms on the lower floor meant often a queue for the upstairs ones. This caused cleaning issues and queues.

After spending a few months in this hostel I can only recommend it. In the CBD, so we can have access to all the facilities. The staff is present and responsive. We have access to a free breakfast every morning. The rooftop is a bit small but nice. And all beds have curtains allowing privacy.
