The location of this cottage is amazing. You are right on the beach and the view from the deck is spectacular. The cottage is spacious and has everything that you need for a great stay. We especially loved the fact that back up batteries were in place during load shedding, we could continue as normal.

The view is spectacular and location to beach and restaurant is excellent
There was building going on next door. The manager did not let us know before hand and was also not willing to move us. No daily cleaning service and only one set of towels per person for the whole stay. No rugs on the tile floor either.

The view, photo's don't do Archrock justice it's even more beautiful in real life! It's so peaceful and secure.

A perfect spot if you want to to be right on the beach and don't want to drive for a day or two. With Enrico's around the corner, you can just walk over when you get hungry. Truly a great spot!

The apartment was more basic than expected in terms of things provided and cleanliness. Supposed to be 4 star, but seemed more like 3 star

Could have done with more towels - or change of towels - if you are there for a while it can be difficult to get them dry

Property had an inverter, which provided electricity during load shedding (very important in SA). Can recommend going to the Italian restaurant next door, it was very good.

No DSTV from when we arrived and never fixed in 4 days we were there. This should have been fixed before arrived. WiFi also very weak you could not use it. Had to drive to Resturant with reliable WiFi to try and finish off work.

The location, the beach. A quiet place to relax. The long walks along the clean beach. The backup power in the rooms meant we didn't have to worry about power outages.

Clean and comfortable room. Very peaceful and secure. Wonderful ocean views and stargazing from balcony. Well eqiupped for self-catering: kitchen (stove, microvave, full size fridge, Nespresso coffee machine) and braai facilities (barbecue). Otherwise, there is Enrico restaurant next door.

It was our 3rd visit to Arch Rock. It is a small well-run family resort that reminds me of my childhood beach holidays. A true hidden gem.
A safety catch on the bathroom slidingdoor wil be a wise desicion.

Direct proximity to the beach and nice view from the balcony with a Braai to bbq at night, very spacious rooms and location.
Kitchen equipment only (very) bare minimum - we’ve had a lot better at Airbnbs - and high humidity requires constant running of dehumidifier.

Exceptional accommodation right on the beach. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely veranda with sea view. Very peaceful.
