La localización
Está claro que Galle fort es más caro de lo normal, pero por ese precio nos pareció un poco deficiente: el desayuno muy normalito, el chico no hablaba nada bien el inglés, no había jabón de manos, la temperatura del aire acondicionado no se podía ajustar fácilmente…

Die Lage war top und das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation hat einwandfrei funktioniert.
Man konnte die Toilette nur mit einem Duschvorhang abtrennen.

The hotel is located in the centre of the Portuguese/Dutch Fort, 1 floor above the main street. The bathroom is stylish, with a glass wall. The breakfast (choice of Lankan or English) is tasty. A tiny balcony provides a view over main street. Only pedestrians and an occasional tuktuk, quiet at night.
The room (good airco) is very small and the lobby (hot) not much bigger.

A nice place to stay in the heart of the Fort. Extremely clean and everything in good condition (a/c, hot water). I've booked a small room and it was really cosy for one person. Clean, cosy and quite in the evening. The right place to discover the surroundings. The owner made breakfast early in the morning and dropped me to the bus station. Thank you!

Booked this place because of the central location and that's exactly what we got.
Compact size room has everything we needed for one night stay. Balcony was lovely place to relax and watch busy street below.
Bathroom being part of the bedroom is not ideal. Unless you travel alone, can't recommend long stay because of this.

Situated in the Old city centre of Galle. You walk out the door and you are in the middle of all the cozy restaurants and cool shops.
The place is very clean and the bathroom is amazing. Nice breakfast. My laundry was done in the guesthouse. Overall excellent service.
It says there is parking but that's not the case. With a motorbike you will manage (I could park mine in front of the door) but bigger will be a problem. Something to keep in mind.

Amazing place ind the middle of Galle. Very nice amd cleaned up room with beautiful view from terrace. The owner was very polite and welcomming. It was sad for us to say bye to him. Breakfast was delicious!

Very good location in the fort. Many restaurants and shops nearby. We booked a small room which was very clean, modern and comfortable. The employee was very nice.
We felt so good that my son wanted to stay more!

The Stay at the bend was very nice. It was the best spot for walking through Old Town. The Host was very friendly and helps us, to make our stay the best! He gave us a lot of information, especialy in corona time.

A very cozy and stylish place right in the heart of the fort. It's got a real colonial feel to it and is very relaxing, especially the ample balcony over looking the streets. Despite being so central it wasn't noisy at night at all. The guy who ran the place was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the balcony each morning was such a treat too.
Wi-fi is really bad, basically non existent. But we didn't really need it to be fair.
