Owners & their daughter is very helpful in several occasions, I never forget them, very very helpful

The owners went on and behind to make sure I'm happy. They picked me up with out charge from the wall, showed me where was my bus stop and even brang me there with a hand written note so I could make it back to the city. The home made food was delicious and I had so much fun playing pool against the chef.

The mattress was a little bit thin and hard but that's my personal opinion since I love soft mattresses.

Really great and friendly owners. They communicate with you using google translation, which goes quite smooth. The lady can cook you very tasty dinner or breakfast for reasonable prices, and e.g. offer a beer. Very friendly pople. Just have in mind, durring a winter time may be really cold in the area, the owners heats the rooms with a fast aircondition - wich in my opinion solves this issue. This is not a luxury hotel, but a cozy farm with basic furnitures and conditions but very friendly stuff - keep it in mind

this place felt like home, away from home. the hostess was very sweet and kind. and willing to help in any way that she could. the accommodation was comfortable and conveniently located near the Mutianyu Great Wall. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to a traveler who wants a unique experience with a feeling of home. this was an experience unlike any other and gave me a different perspective on life outside of the Beijing city center. the people in the small village are so kind and friendly and very helpful to me. the Great Wall is within walking distance and there are also many other beautiful sites to see in Huairou District.

there weren't many stores open in the winter time in the small town

Very friendly owners. Felt very welcomed and they helped by driving us to The Wall in the morning. The food was excellent. A perfect overnight village stay from where to explore the wall.

Clean restroom but it smelled a little bit restroom was no problem using it
