Location,

room was a Little Bit outdated, but clean and ok

Loved that the staff were Romanian they were so friendly. The Transilvanian food was fabulous.

great location promised so much. Shame it doesn’t have that ‘traditional’ Scottish feel you want from an old drover’s inn on the remote moor. otherwise fantastic!

small room.

Although listed as a small room it was a reasonable size. Fridge in room useful. Very good self-service breakfast, cooked and cereals available. Dinner at the inn was also very good and filling. Good base for exploring local area esp for walkers. Plenty of parking.

Small snag -walk from rooms to the restaurant part of inn was via outside path.

Really in the middle of nowhere, absolutely amazing location. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great room. Great stay.

The smell of bleachbleach was overwhelming but just meant it was super clean!

That they let us bring the dogs to stay, and everything was nice and clean

When I booked I had said that I was bringing the dogs but when arrived was told that I needed to pay extra for them

The craic with the other guests. It is, as I explained the the Dutch guests, between the middle of nowhere & the back of beyond.

When we arrived, there were no staff but some other guests knew how to get in. Staff arrived at 16:00. Expensive for what one got. Pricey dinner but good with it. Extra from breakfast, so we set off early & had some on the road. Single beds - we are a double bed couple. The rooms was in an annex you have to go out of the main building to reach. Fortunately, it did not rain much.

The room and dinning room are on the gound floor so there are no stairs.

The room was small

We enjoyed the restaurant on the premises because the facility is a distance out of town. Parking was convenient and free.

The internet could have been stronger. The shower area needed a soap dish.

rooms clean and tidy

hotel very isolated and staff didn’t really appear to care, when asked if I could change the time for dinner member of staff shrugged their shoulders and said up to you !!

We had expected a room in the inn We were in the ' bunkhouse' which was very basic and small Duvets very thick and heavy

The offering of Transylvanian food was a surprise. The food was exceptional. The cleanliness of the rooms and public spaces was excellent.

Our room was very small but we did know in advance that it was a small room just not so small. It should be marketed as a single.
