Eco villa in Koroni is a must! The views are amazing and couldn’t stop staring at them in the week we were there. Close to beaches and restaurants, best restaurant being Nikos in Vasilitsi, just down the hill. The villa was beautiful and has many beautiful touches. The only downfall we found was that there weren’t screens on all the doors. During the day there were many yellow jackets wasps, and at night mosquitoes. It was impossible to keep them out of the house. There were many places to relax in the home, and a view from each of them. Edwin was easy to reach and cared that we were enjoying our time.

The problems started with the power efficiency of the place... we were a group of 7 + 2 kids with plans to mainly stay - work - and enjoy the villa. This all-day stay together w usage of electronic devices led to power shortages and stop of electricity 3 of the 6 nights we stayed and 2 of the mornings. No electricity on this property means: freezer stuff melted and spoiled, no water to clean ourselves, no water for the toilets..., no fans for the night sleep, no way to charge our phone and communicate, no power to work with our laptops, no internet. We acted extremely politely and show full understanding to the owner, by accepting this issue and tried to have fun within this situation. we couldn't do anything to change it, so we moved on. Last day again we had a power shortage... We were 3 days like that, as a result, we couldn't use the dishwasher to clean kitchenware. Also to be completely honest we decided no to clean the house with no power since some party groups were disappointed and were thinking of a refund, and since we accepted this whole issue of the house with no complaints they didn't want to clean. So we left the garbage in the house and we left the dishes in the washer and some bottles and glasses here and there. When the person who cleans came to deliver the keys, (that seemed to have full compassion about the issues we faced w electricity), seemed discomforted because she should clean everything with no electricity (as she said). And since we hadn't done much, it was a huge task. After leaving she sent a message to the owner w video of the house situation, which was not clean telling him that with no power she will need more people. After that owner, issued a refund for damages of 150euro to us. NO DAMAGE was made to the house... the only thing is that we didn't spend hours of cleaning dishes and other stuff, with no electricity... So in the end, even though we didn't ask to be refunded for a place that didn't have water and electricity for 2mornings and 3 nights (no mention of danger like that on the listing...) we got fined because there was no electricity for the cleaning lady to clean... Isn't that amazing? Anyway now I have to fight back because I may be kind, but I am not stupid.

Ein wirklich großartiges Haus und eine fantastische Lage. Der Pool ist so groß, dass man wirklich schwimmen kann. In der näheren Umgebung ist eine Taverne und der Strand von Corona. Das Haus ist sehr stylisch und praktisch eingerichtet. Man muss bezüglich des Eco-Standards einige Dinge beachten, aber dies ist in keinerlei Hinsicht eine Einschränkung. (Zum Beispiel kann man die Waschmaschine und die Geschirrspülmaschine nicht im gleichen Zeitraum laufen lassen.) Im Umkreis von 1 h Fahrt sind die schönsten Strände der Peloponnes zu finden. Es war ein unglaublich erholsamer Urlaub, den wir gerne hier wiederholen möchten.

Das Haus war ein Traum! Es war alles perfekt. Ines und Edwin sind super nett. Alles wurde zu unseren Wünschen erfüllt. Der Ausblick ist wunderschön. Die Betten sind sehr gemütlich. Die Villa liegt etwas abgelegen, genau das was wir wollten! Danke für die wunderschöne Zeit

Wir fühlten uns herzlich Willkommen (thanks Edwin for your hospiality)und durften das ganze Haus / equipment nutzen. Es gibt Alles für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt. Fantastisch ist der Pool im Haus. Auch das Ökokonzept (Stromerzeugung via Windkraft) überzeugt! Wir kommen gern wieder.

Ein wunderschönes Haus zwischen Koroni und Finikunda einsam auf einem Bergrücken gelegen mit fantastischen Blick auf das Meer. Vier Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder,eine grandiose überdachte Terasse und nicht zuletzt ein großer Pool lassen keine Wünsche übrig. Bestens ausgestattet mit allem was man nur brauchen kann. Das ganz besondere ist jedoch,dass dieses Haus autark "funktioniert", das Haus erzeugt seinen Szrom zu 100% selbst und das Wasser kommt aus den Bergen...und das funkioniert absolut reibungslos...toll!!

Just what we expected.... amazing place! And everybody is very friendly... we loved them 🥰

We stayed for two weeks. Everything was great from the moment we booked. Smooth and quick communication with Edwin, the owner. He was able to answer questions regarding our travel etc. This made it clear to us it would be a good experience all round! Ines, the lovely lady that looks after the villa was also in touch beforehand to check our arrival time & bed requirements. Another good sign! We were a group of 7. Two 14 yrs olds, two 18 yrs old, and three grown ups. This villa gave us all room to spread out! The bedrooms were a good size, the living area inside was really not used that much but was also spacious. Bathrooms were fantastic. We loved the shaded outdoor space. So much room and seating available. Lots of different seating areas outside, everyone could find their own space. The pool was perfect! Inside the villa everything had been thought of. We made good use of the music speaker! Ample towels etc., glasses and crockery also in good supply. This is by far the best decorated and most stylish villa we've ever rented! We had a couple of issues during our stay, both were dealt with very quickly, within half an hour! One was WiFi, even on holiday we did still need this. Teenagers for social media and sadly for work for a couple of the grown ups. Once there was WiFi it worked well but the issue was all of the data had been used up before we arrived by the previous guests. Edwin was great and said to just get more on his account but I felt this was an expensive way to do it. Looking on the local providers website you should switch your tariff Edwin - you'd get a better deal! The only other issue was the washing machine. We had great difficulty in getting it to work. It did work once but we couldn't get it to work again. I think this issue was to do with the electricity but I'm not sure what the problem was as we always had plenty of electricity! We never ran out of water - all was good! The drive up to the villa is hair raising!! The kids loved it! As mentioned in earlier reviews don't rent a sports car! It is worth the trip up for the amazing views. The area is beautiful. We visited lots of local beaches, some near, some far, lots of local restaurants. Rented a boat for an afternoon. We also made a trip to the Polilimnio Waterfalls and the ancient ruins at Messene. Both worth while trips. We left early and were back for afternoons round the pool. Spent evenings in Koroni, Gialova but most in Finikounda. Lots of choice.

Alles in Allem eine wunderbare Location, die wir wärmstens weiterempfehlen, jedoch nicht für Familien mit Kleinkindern. 6 Sterne würde wir vergeben, wenn es einen Sonnenschirm/Pergola am Pool gäbe. Möglicherweise widerspricht Waschmaschine, Toaster und Haarföhn dem Eco-Prinzip, für Familien mit 8 Personen bei einem Aufenthalt von 14 Tagen jedoch wünschenswert. This villa is situated on a Unique location. The house is well equipped and Everything is available. A lovely veranda where you can sit in the shade. And the swimming pool is amazing. The owner is friendly and very helpful. Koroni is a lovely village and is just 10 min driving. Also phinikounda is a nice village and only 15 min driving Away. We went a few times to peroulia beach a very nice place.

Stunning views -- and at night an abundance of stars with the Milky Way on clear nights. Telescope and binoculars came in useful to look at the twinkling constellations. Wonderful swimming pool enjoyed by my 9 month old granddaughter as well. Lovely spacious living areas inside and out. Koroni and Finikounda within 10 minute drive for daily shopping or dining out. Pylos further west along the coast lovely village and Methoni has the remains of an old fort -- worth visiting. Edwin ws very helpful and quick to respond when there was a problem. Lovely relaxed holiday in a beautiful, rural, quiet location.

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks in this beautiful house. There are many nice little corners to sit and relax, an amazing view, no neighbors around and even for windy and more chilly hours there is the fire place to cuddle in in front of. Not only the kids loved the pool with its great view over the landscape. The house is well designed, so that there is enough space for 2 families to spent time together and also have enough privacy. The self sufficient energy situation gives a really good feeling. It also can be a challenge sometimes, but with any problem there is a quick solution because Edwin or Ines are answering calls or emails immediately and are always there to help. The surrounding area has everything we needed. Beautiful sandy beaches, taverns, great nature and excellent hiking possibilities. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Das Haus steht wie ein griechischer Tempel auf einem Berg, welches zum Grundstück gehört - ein schon überwältigender Anblick. Der Privatweg zur Unterkunft ist ein bisschen hügelig, aber einmal oben angekommen hat er sich absolut gelohnt! Das Haus ist komplett freistehend, der nächste Nachtbar ist einige hundert Meter entfernt, man ist nur von Natur umgeben, d.h. man kann voll uns ganz zur Ruhe kommen. Im und um dem Haus war alles wie wir es uns gewünscht haben: sauber, ordentlich und mit Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet! Es gibt eine große Küche mit einem riesigen Tisch, wo man gemütlich zusammen sein kann, auch das angrenzende Wohnzimmer bietet ein großes, eckiges Sofa und eine gute Musikanlage um mal einen schönen Abend zu verbringen. Morgens wachten wir gut erholt mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick auf einen goldenen Sonnenaufgang im Tal und dem Meer auf, danach wurde ausführlich auf der großen Terrasse gefrühstückt. Die Zimmer sind nicht riesig, aber haben ein komfortables Bett und genug Schrankplatz um seine Sachen zu verstauen. Das Badezimmer ist ein Traum, wie aus einer Wohnzeitschrift ausgeschnitten, groß und hell mit einer tollen Einlaufdusche. Auch der "Masterbedroom" lässt mit großem Bett und separatem Badezimmer nichts zu wünschen übrig! Das Haus bietet allen Luxus, den man sich wünscht, ob nun in der Küche, Bad, oder ums Haus herum. Wir waren oft am Strand bei Koroni (kann ich sehr empfehlen!), aber wenn nicht haben wir viel Zeit im Infinity-Pool, in der Lounge-Ecke, oder auf der großen Terrasse verbracht. Großer Pluspunkt finde ich, dass die Villa sich selbst versorgt: der Strom wird über die kleine Windmühle, oder den Sonnenkollektoren gewonnen, das Wasser wird aus dem Regenwasser recycelt. Die umliegenden Städte wie Koroni, Gialova, Vasilitsi bieten abends viel Unterhaltung, dort gibt es viele schöne Restaurants, kleine Bars und Kneipen :-) Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass ich das Haus jedem wärmstens empfehlen kann! Wir hatten einen der schönsten Familienurlaube überhaupt in dieser schönen Villa und kommen sehr gerne wieder! 😍😍

We hebben er een heerlijke week gehad.Je kan lekker op het terras zitten, waar je een prachtig uitzicht hebt. We hebben veel gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad, maar je kan ook lekker naar het strand. Je zit midden in een natuurgebied en het was er heerlijk rustig. Het is ook een prachtig gebied om te wandelen.

When entering the village Vasilitsi you already see the villa in the mountains. The road to the villa is quite steep, but once you arrive the view over the valley towards the sea is amazing. The house is very modern and everything required is available. Comfortable couch in the living room and a huge table in the kitchen. The bedrooms are big enough and the beds sleep well. On the first floor is the master bedroom with own bathroom. The bed in the middle of the room with the view over the valley gives the perfect feeling. In te early morning you can sit on the couch outside watching the sunrise from behind the mills. This is a very nice view with an even nicer reflection of the sun in the sea. After having enjoyed the sun or just as morning gymnastics the pool gives the possibility to cool down or to be sportive. At the side of the house you can see where the naming of Eco villa comes from. The windmill and solar panel take care of the electricity and warm water. Rainwater is being collected in a huge basin. This all has been very well thought off. In the area there are a lot of villages, so more than enough possibilities to go out for dinner. These places also have very nice beaches with crystal clear water. For shopping you can go to Kalamata which is approx. one hour drive by car. We also visited some castles which are still pretty much good conceived over time. In one of the castles even still nons are living and it is really recommended to pay a visit. All in all this magnificent house was really worthwhile visiting and the owners really know what it is to enjoy relaxing. We will for sure visit this place once again. Thanks, Cor & Willeke

Wij hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in dit mooie huis in September 2017. Elke ochtend hebben wij mogen genieten van de mooie zonsopgang en het prachtige uitzicht richting de zee. Ook van het fijne zwembad hebben wij veel gebruik gemaakt. Mooie en rustige omgeving, heerlijk om tot rust te komen. Wij zijn van plan om nog zeker een keer terug te keren naar dit fijne huis in Vasilitsi Bedankt Edwin Familie Manvis, Purmerend

Wij hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in dit mooie huis September 2017. Elke ochtend genoten van de mooie zonsopgang en het mooie uitzicht. Ook hebben wij veel gebruik gemaakt van het heerlijke zwembad. Mooie omgeving, heerlijk om tot rust te komen, een aanrader. The villa is nicely situated at a mountain with lots of privacy as the nearest neighbour is more than 1Km away. It has a beautiful view over the landscape. Especially from the terrace and pool the view to the sea is fantastic! It is brand new and well maintained. The nearby !sandy! beach is 8 minutes driving. The owner is very responsive. We have stayed here 2,5 and are eager to have holiday overhere again. I can recommend this villa to everyone.
