We had 6 adults and 1 toddler. Place was plenty big for everyone. Beautiful sunrises to see from the deck overlooking the lake. Everything was clean and in working order. Host Amy was easy to contact with any questions. We did not use the grills or kayaks so can’t comment on those. Plan to stay there again!

It’s a great spot and filled all our expectations, grown up on the lake, spending summers as a child and vacationing over 60 years. So many memories and now we made more 👍👍

We’re three retired couples working on our bucket list. Glass bottom boat was on the list. Munising was incredible and the boat was better than expected But the best was your cabin!!! It was really a wonderful place. We all agreed it was one of the BEST VRBO’s ever!!

Exceeds all expectations!

The chalet is beautifully decorated with a cabin feel and modern appliances. It boasts multiple spaces for a family to gather and to spread out. It is conveniently located on the lake, just a few steps away from kayaks, a canoe and fire pit. While it feels like you are off the beaten path, it’s really just a few miles from town for groceries, supplies, restaurants and touring activities. Amy the host was very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend this location for a visit to the upper peninsula.

Our short stay at the Chalet was fantastic! Beautiful home and property, we wish we could have stayed longer! We even accidentally left a baby monitor behind and the owners were so very kind and helpful to find it and mail it home for us. Great communication and service!

I would recommend this chalet. It’s so peaceful and beautiful. We were able to rent a pontoon from the next door neighbor for a sunset cruise. The whole stay was wonderful. It is a bit off the beaten path but well worth it!!!

Oh how I love this cabin! It was so perfect for our family of 5 (boys ages 9, 13 and 16). It was so clean and cozy. For our first trip up to the UP, it was perfect ! Our kids got to have a great experience fishing off the dock (my 16 year old even caught a 2 ft. long Pike!) it was so exciting for them. And kayaking on the lake was certainly a highlight for all of us. Having enough kayaks (and a canoe!) with paddles and life jackets was amazing and more than we could have hoped for! 16 mile lake is quiet and serene, it was just lovely! This cabin is obviously well loved by a family who knows how to provide anything guests could want. There is also a laundry room in the basement, which was great for us. The beds are comfy, the couches are great and the dining arrangements too. Honestly if you're looking for a place on the UP, look no further. This was the best place we stayed over a 14 day trip with 3 other cabins. Even during a huge rainstorm, it was wonderful to look out the enormous windows onto the lake. Just be advised that the road coming in is dirt/gravel and has several potholes. GPS might have a hard time navigating, so be sure to type in the info while you're still on wifi or have a good signal. We used Waze to get there without issues. Also, bring your bug spray for the mosquitoes in the evenings.

By far one of the best rentals we’ve had. House had everything needed, great location, and was everything we could have asked for. Made for a wonderful family trip.

The place was amazing!! Nice furnishings, comfortable with everything you’d need for your stay. The view of the lake was just beautiful and we enjoyed it every day during our stay. Very large fire pit right next to the water; kayaks and canoe in great shape and the lake was fun to paddle around. Highly recommend the property. It was everything we hoped for and more!!

We stayed here during Memorial Day weekend and it exceeded our expectations. The property is secluded and the lake was beautiful. The house was updated and had everything we needed for our two families with kids. The owner was very gracious with our check-in and responded very quickly to inquiries. I would highly recommended this house and we will definitely be back!

We traveled from WI for a wedding nearby. 6 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs stayed here very comfortably. We ran on the gravel roads, kayaked, and enjoyed the beautiful deck and reading nook upstairs. Cabin had everything we needed! Only downside was the mosquitos! If you rent this early summer, bring bug spray for evenings and mornings!!

Amazing place for Snowmobiling. A 4 mile private trail leads you right to trail 8 at the M94 crossing. Had everything you need and more. Great location, you can easily head out N-S-E-W everyday. Plus the Buckhorn is close by.

The Buck Rack is a well-equipped, warm and comfortable place to relax and recharge between epic winter adventures into the Hiawatha National Forest. Love it

our stay was awesome from top to bottom no issues at all very clean well organized well stocked with anything you need just have to bring food and drinks we made breakfast and dinner every day we will be back oh one thing the tv stations are so so wish i would've brought my firestick other than that 5 stars thank you to Amy she was very helpful with every question i had before trip once we checked in never had to contact her again! oh one more thing dont be alarmed when solo the dog next door comes and peaks in the rear sliding door he just wants treats the owners supply them lol

The cabin is beautiful and well furnished. The view of the lake is spectacular. The cabin owner, Amy Buck, was very helpful with any questions we had. This is our second time at the cabin. Once in the summer for ATV's and this time was riding sleds. Awesome place.

We enjoyed the remote home right on the lake. Still close to Munising and pictures rocks.

What a great place to get away and enjoy a time of rest. We truly appreciated the beautiful landscape and the incredible place called the Buck Rack. The owner was excellent, and we look forward to another trip up north in the future.

Wonderful week away with adult kids. Saw everything we had hoped to with the perfect "home away from home" to crash at. Took several nice easy hikes. Kayaked on lake. Loved seeing all the stars when we turned off the deck lights.

We couldn't of asked for a better setting & lodging for our family.
