The unit hasn't been updated at all. Old uncomfortable furniture. No cabinet space for food,as they were filled with glasses, dishes and pots. Was not as clean as we would have liked. We vacuumed and dusted and found a bottle cap and a sock under the one bed. Bedroom air conditioner did not work, and did not who to contact to report it.

We enjoyed our stay in 32-A, although the cleanliness of the property left much to be desired. I informed the owner of this as soon as we got there, and she assured me that she would take care of it. We were missing a parking pass, and there were no bath towels, etc., but I contacted Jiwanda, and she took care of it immediately. The condo is close to the beach, and the lake behind the property is beautiful and perfect for early morning fishing. You’re within a short walk or drive to many different shops and restaurants. We enjoyed grilling and sitting out by the pool because it was never crowded, and it was a lot quieter than other properties we have stayed at in Myrtle Beach. Overall, a great vacation experience.

I rented this property for me and my friend who I care for. She is particularly paralyzed and has a certified service animal. Renting and checking in wasn't too hard. But there was an issue with the address when we ordered food a few times. The delivery always went to a different address and I had to contact the delivery driver to correct them. We stayed here for a month and for the first 2 weeks everything was pretty standard and easy. After that the property manager came by to drop off car hangers and wrist bands for the pool. When he tried to enter without knocking the service dog barked to alert us. He left the pool bans and stuff outside the door. A few minutes later my phone was going crazy with the owner trying to reach me. He told me that I wasn't allowed to have a dog and that I needed to leave or end up paying extra for the dog.
I explained that she's a service animal and under the Americans with disabilities act she is allowed on the property and shouldn't have to pay extra. The owner didn't fully understand so I ended up having to call his property management company (Cams) I called and explained the situation and I even emailed them a picture of her license (technically I shouldn't have to supply any documents but I did to make it easier)
After all that I needed to send the owner a picture of the same license and all seemed to be okay.
Well not too much longer an owner came to visit who lived directly below the unit I was in. When walking the dog he asked me if I picked up after the dog. I thought that was weird but simply said yes. 2 days later I got a text from the owner of the property I was in saying that the people below me were conserned and reached out to him to tell him there was a dog in his unit. Apparently they took pictures of me and the dog without my knowledge as well. Saying things like "that's a big dog, I bet your apartment smells like dog now" I spoke with the owner yet again about how that is harassment. I didn't take any action with vrbo or anything but I think things were handled very unprofessionally. I would say if you have a service animal stear clear of this place.

Great location.....literally a block away from my favorite area on the beach! Its centered right in the heart of cherry grove and a little over a block away from the iga which was great but overall the experience wasnt what i expected it to be. Condo could be really great if it was renovated and the decor was improved. Chairs and table on the balcony were extremely uncomfortable....we had to bring in folding chairs just to enjoy the view.....had an old smell throughout.....incredibly small tv in 2nd bedroom....found some droppings on the counter as soon as we came in and no washer and dryer which i hadnt paid attention to in the description (totally my fault and a deal breaker for a family of 5) Told to leave money to pay to wash linens which should be included in overall rental price especially when washing and drying a load is only a few bucks . It was sufficient for our week long beach trip but not something i would be willing to rent again until some major improvements were made. Again great location but would be so much better if modernized.

Our poor experience with this property started a few days before we left home when I received an email informing me there would be no linens anywhere in the condo--no sheets on the four beds, no towels or washcloths in the bathroom, no dish clothes or towels in the kitchen--and we would need to bring our own or leave $ for the cleaning lady and use some that would be in a closet there. You can imagine my frustration, but whatever, we're going to the beach, right? We'll pay the $ and avoid packing an entire condo's worth of linens and bringing them all back with us. Why the owner wouldn't just supply linens and add $ to the cleaning fee is beyond me, but hey, that's her call. This would have been overlooked by me except when we got there the linens were locked in a trunk and I had to go track down a key from the point person on the property. So, I go fetch the key, make 4 beds, put some towels in the bathroom and finally we can relax and enjoy our short 3 nights at the beach. Except, the air conditioning in one of the bedrooms doesn't work. It wasn't obvious as the fan still worked and the first day there wasn't scorching, so we tolerated it the first night. The second night was not tolerable and it was so hot that I finally slept on the couch in the living room. I wrote the owner in the morning and she said she'd send a repair man. We went to the beach all day, came back several hours after the man was supposed to have fixed the AC, and alas, still no AC. No call from the owner either. I text her and she informs me they couldn't fix it on site and would have to come back the next day and bring it to the shop. If you're keeping count at home, we'll be leaving the next day, so no bedroom AC the entire trip for my wife and I. I ask if we'll be compensated for this inconvenience (something I feel should have been offered by her, not requested by me) and was met with a very defensive text in return accusing me of not alerting her to the AC soon enough for her to have it fixed during our stay. At this point I broke and voiced all of my frustrations with our experience and there was no return text after that. There was also no return of our security deposit even though we left the place in good shape (there were no check out instructions, so we tidied up in a manner we thought reasonable). I assumed we weren't going to be compensated for a poor experience (we weren't), so we didn't pay the ridiculous linen fee. Don't stay here. Plenty of other choices.

I liked that this property was close to the beach and enjoyed the back balcony overlooking the water. I would stay there again for a long weekend.

Location, location, location! Just 2 blocks from the ocean this condo is the perfect location. Small but adequate for our group. The air was a bit musty which may be an issue for people with allergies. The WiFi was slow at the beginning but after we contacted the owners it improved greatly! If you don’t mind the hike to the third floor this is the perfect spot for a small group or family!
