We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pene's. The unit is well appointed and suited for couples or families. Natalie has provided deck chairs for the beach, noodles for the pool, and assorted toys and beach pails for children.The proximity to the pool enables parents to enjoy the unit's patio while maintaining a constant watch on their children. Beach access is just across the street or through Maxwell Coast park. There is public access to the gap sea side at the end of Maxwell Coast beach by theTurtle Beach/Dover Beach hotels.It negates the need to walk around the Sandals Resort compound which adds considerable distance otherwise. We were disappointed the complex did not have a BBQ as we had brought much of our meat from Canada. It did not however dampen our experience as the gas oven/stove sufficed albeit adding heat inside the unit. Overall an Outstanding experience. Natalie was very gracious, attentive, expedient, and a very understanding host. All our correspondence with her was positive and informative. This holds true as well for Patrick her on-site Manager, and Rosalyn our maid. We did accidentally break a Vase during our stay. Natalie was very understanding and offered us the option of paying for its replacement or purchasing one. We opted to purchase one locally. She refunded our security deposit even before we had replaced the item! And there it is. The people of Barbados make every hour a Happy Hour!

We really enjoyed staying at Pene's Place. The apartment has everything you could need. Natalie was lovely and Patrick really helped us out when our flight home was cancelled! The beach is really close, although it takes a little bit of time to find the best way to reach it (eat a yummy pizza at the place opposite and ask there :-)) Easy to get buses up and down the coast to wherever you need to get to. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return! Thanks Natalie!

Staying here was awesome. Looks exactly like the pictures and Natalie was great with communication. As soon as we got in the property manager was over to greet us and answered any questions we had. I am ready to visit the beautiful island again and Pene’s Place will be a repeat stay ❤️

We were greeted by the owner Natalie who was great and very accommodating. We had a minor problem but this was resolved immediately which was very refreshing. It was a lovely hideaway, the pool and hot tub were great areas to relax in when not out and about and I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again. Excellent find!

Great sized condo in a quiet area but very close to the beach and nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Two good sized bedrooms with two bathrooms and large, well equipped kitchen. Natalie and Patrick were great hosts and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. First as hosts and staff go Natalie and Patrick were brilliant! Was welcomed by Natalie and shown around the apartment of which the pictures do not do it justice. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could imagine. Just the usual self catering items to source with a local shop offering a basic selection of items. With a supermarket and dining availability a 10 min drive away. Most importantly there are beaches within walking distance. The pool area is regularly cleaned and other residents are friendly and welcoming. This was the perfect place for my children and I. Will definitely be staying at Penes Place again!

From the moment we booked to the moment we left Natalie , Patrick as well as Brian were exceptionally helpful. The condo is very clean and well equipped . Would definitely rent this wonderful place again .

This property delivered on all that was promised. It was well appointed and well located to beaches, restaurants, transportation. Oistins is a short distance away and across the street is Azul Restaurant and a great beach. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have decided to return next year!

What an amazing place. The location is perfect. Close to the main road and easy access to the beach. Had a great family vacation and would definitely come back to Pene's place again. (Please excuse me, my english is not so good) : It's been our sixth times in Barbados and it's the best place we've stayed so far. Natalie arranged a taxi pickup at the airport and called us in the evening to make sure we had anything we need. Patrick, the house manager was always available if we needed something. We are a family of six and Natalie had an extra air mattress, very confortable, so every one of us had enough place. The place was neat and tidy and we had everything we needed : towels, face cloths, coffee maker, blender, and so on ... My husband really enjoyed homemade Pina Coladas when we got back after a sunny day at the beach. The pool was really appreciated when we just wanted to relax at "home". Definitely the best place to be, we are wishing to come back very soon.

Pene's place is an amazing Condo, Natalie has made sure that all the amenities of home are available, including lots of nice towels. Everything is so close, we explored so many different restaurants all within a few minutes walk or a short bus ride and we were able to met a variety of people wherever we traveled. There is a grocery store very close as well, approximately a 15 minute walk and there is also a convenience store which is a 2 minute walk away for those little things you need. We did not miss going all-inclusive at all. There is always a taxi around if this is your preferred route of transportation, but just a short walk you can take the buses anywhere in Barbados for $1 US. The use of the beach at The Barbados Beach Club across the street, was a great plus. The pool at the condo was great when we wanted to have a lazy day and just hang out at "home". Natalie made sure we were comfortable, checking in periodically to see if we needed anything. The AC in the bedrooms made for a really comfortable sleep. Having the washing machine meant we did not have to bring too many clothes which left lots of room to bring treasures back home. The WiFi is excellent. The people of Barbados are amazing so kind and very helpful. Thank you Natalie for a wonderful 2 weeks; I will definitely be booking again and I will be recommending your condo to all my family and friends.

Just came back from Barbados. WE Loved our stay. We were 2 couples, and we have enough space , not stepping on anyone's toes. We enjoyed having a full kitchen, felt like home . The pool is a plus after a day at the beach. We used the bus and community vans a lot, only 2$ to go to Bridgetown or Oistins. Not many local restaurants in the area. We finally went to the Breezers bar and grill friday night and should have gone earlier . Closest grocery store is at Oistins. 25$ BBD to come back to condo,. We toured the island , a must to discover ! We walked a lot in Bridgetown Streets. We sure will go back and will share our little paradise to friends. Thanks!!

Where do I start?.... I guess by saying that the service received by Natalie was impeccable! Before my family and I were even in Barbados Natalie was messaging me to inform us about the condo and surrounding areas, to check up on our travelling status, etc. Once we reached our destination we were met by a very friendly gentleman ( property manager) Patrick. Patrick showed us around and left contact numbers in case we needed anything. The condo itself is absolutely beautiful, looks even better than in the pictures which was a lovely surprise. It is very accommodating, they have everything you may need there and more, the pool and jacuzzi were just the icing on the cake, ..(& they light up) :) the neighbors are very friendly and QUIET , you begin to wonder if they're ever home. The beach is literally a 2 min walk or less from the condo and it is private so alot of the time we were there alone. Oistins fish fry is a 20 min walk or a 3min van/bus ride away & I highly recommend you head there on a friday night, I think we were there every night, mo's grill is the place to eat. There's a supermarket near the fish fry and a max's convenience store 3min from the condo. I will absolutely be staying at Pene's place Everytime I return to beautiful Barbados, the hospitality was unreal. Even when hurricane Matthew hit the island Natalie was keeping us updated on the storm and about how the island and airports were closed and where to find candles and such in the condo. She checked in daily and really made us feel like part of the family. If i could give more stars I would. ! Thank you Natalie & Patrick for being the first and last great part of our vacay. I really enjoyed my two week stay at this property. It's a perfect family villa. A great location, loads of space, very clean and tidy. The pool and jacuzzi were an instant hit. The beach is a two minute walk. Very close to both Oistins and St Lawrence's Gap. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking to stay in Barbados.

This place was perfect for our family stay. It was walking distance to everything and the pool and jacuzzi were a hit with the kids. We would definitely come again. Beach is across the road, not a 5 min walk. Being able to use the amenities at the Barbados Beach resort was a nice plus too.

I'm still beaming from my recent stay in Barbados! Not only is the island the most beautiful piece of land I've stepped foot on, but my accommodations were above standard! Pene's place was a ground level unit conveniently located with beach access across the street from the complex; Oistins Fish Market (and Friday night hot spot) is within a close enough distance; there's a corner star/bar right down the street and to top it off, the pool and whirlpool are right off of the front porch - at night they even have colourful lights that give off a beautiful ambiance. The neighbours in the complex are friendly; we've even exchanged contact info and are keeping in touch across countries! The Barbados Beach Club Hotel is just down the street to which you can walk through to access the beach - you can use their beach chairs and purchase drinks from their bar, no problem. Talk about having what you need!! When you stay at properties like this, often the owners will only have a few of each item or sometimes not even have what you need. Pene's place delivered in FULL! Everything we needed, was there; from an abundance of towels to any needed kitchen utensil, Pene's place had it all! The condo is super clean and inviting, beautifully decorated and comfortable. It honestly felt like I was at home! The appliances are modern, the tv has every channel you'd need; there's even a stereo with a docking station to play your music. The beds were comfortable and there was a lot of storage space to unpack your clothes. The kitchen has a great size counter and a lot of cupboard space. The convenience of having 1 1/2 bathrooms was great! We were 4 women staying in this condo and never once did we run out of hot water or space... now that says a lot!! The owner of Pene's place has great contacts; guaranteed anything you need/want, she'll find a way to make sure you have it. Her friendly demeanour and excellent customer service has guaranteed the fact that I will not only be back but will recommend this property to everyone I know! I don't take writing these reviews lightly, I know how important it is to hear from others who have stayed at your potential location. I promise you, you stay here you will be more than satisfied! Our family (2 adults, 3 children) stayed at Pene's place from Jan. 31- Feb. 14, 2016. It was our second trip to Barbados, but the first time at Pene's place. The condo itself was very clean, nicely furnished, and very comfortable! The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances, flatware, pots, pans, and utensils you could possibly need. The appliances are new and are very nice quality. There were many towels for both bath and beach, nice linens, and paper products (toilet paper, paper towels). The condo is on the ground level, literally steps to the pool and Jacuzzi, which was amazing for our children. The pool area was rarely used by other guests/ residents, and the complex itself is quiet, peaceful, and situated on a quiet road. There is a small convenience/ grocery store about a 2 minute walk from the condo, and a large grocery store about a 15 minute walk away. The beach is literally less than a 5 minute walk across the road! We felt very comfortable and at-home in the condo. It is in an excellent location, as it is only a short walk to the main road and the "ZR" buses, but it is set back from the main road in a quieter area. Everything we needed- beaches, restaurants, groceries- was accessible from the condo either by walking or taking the convenient ZR buses. Natalie was a wonderful host; she called to make sure we had everything we needed, and she was kind and considerate to deal with. We definitely plan to return as soon as possible! Great place to stay! The beach is a 2 minute walk away, not crowded at all. When the owner said everything you need is there, so true! From beach towels, wi-fi, cable, beach chairs, pool, even an electric griddle! The place is very clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. We definitely felt at home and would rent again. The owner goes out of her way to make sure your stay is great. She called several times to make sure everything was to our liking. The condo is located close to everything. We used the local bus to venture to Oinstins Fish Fry, St. Lawrence Gap, Bridegetown, local stores and shopping. Love, love, loved it!

We had a great time here, the condo is in a great location just across the street from the beach, you can walk to St Lawrence Gap ( 15-20min ) and also to Oistins ( 20-30 Min ) or of course you can take one of the many ZR buses for $1 US. You can also walk to the supermarket and cab it back with your groceries, there is also a small convenience store 2-3 minutes away. The condo itself is clean, comfortable and has all modern amenities, also lots of sheets and bath and beach towels and bedrooms have A/C. As advertised WiFi is available which was very important for us ( yes, some of us do have to work even on vacation ) and the signal strength and speed were excellent, TV also has lots of channels if you are staying inn for the night. If you decide to go out there are plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance and from what we could see the area was very safe. All in all we very very happy with our condo and would have no hesitation recommending it or going back for another visit. Only reason we have not given 5 stars is just a few minor issues that are not to do with the condo but more the property, swimming pool was very cold and the Jacuzzi was not working as the water heater we found out has been broken for some time. The pool / patio furniture is well past it's best and is rusting out, the umbrella actually collapsed ( just went in for a fresh drink so lucky I just missed being injured ) chairs and table look as though they are ready to go at any time. Not sure why they would buy metal furniture here in the first place with the salt sea air, should be aluminum, plastic or wicker, something that cannot rust. As mentioned these were just minor issues and certainly would not put us off from booking again, it's also a bonus to be on the ground floor as there are no elevators so you don't have to drag your luggage up the stairs.

Just arrived back home from a wonderful stay in Barbados, at Pene's Place. The condo is located within minutes walking distance to some of the most beautiful beaches. It is also close to many amenities such as shopping, restaurants and just a quick drive to the famous Oistins Fish Fry. The condo was beautifully furnished, and well kept. The owner Natalie checked in regularly to make sure our stay was pleasant and the property manager Patrick was also very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to return!

Our host was extremely great at communicating with us and was concerned that everything was right. The accommodations were exceptional. Lots of room and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was a joy for sleeping. The location is a perfect distance to the Friday Fish Fry (about 1.5 km's) and close to St Lawrence Gap and other places we wanted to visit. Natalie had everything we needed at the condo and we felt right at home as soon as we got there. The neighbours were excellent and very welcoming with nice evening around the pool chatting. We would highly recommend this location and will be back for sure. The manager Patrick was a real gem and very helpful, an A+ visit all around!

Pene's Place was the perfect condo for my one month vacation in Barbados . It is literally in the middle of everything , not far from the airport and not far from town , beaches , restaurants supermarkets..you name it . Upon arrival we were greated by the manager and a beautiful pool and jacuzzi steps away from our door . I travelled with my 11 months old daughter , boyfriend and two friends which had more then enough space for all of us aswell for my daughter to have her own play space! Very easy access to the taxi stand which was practically across the rd . The apartment was clean and had everything that you need , only thing for myself was that I found myself cleaning a lot ( Mommy duties) . I enjoyed how quiet the condo was , didn't have to worry about noise level or cars driving by as it was located off the main road and by the beach . Must go places 10mins away : Oistins (especially on a Friday night) and St.Lawrence Gap The owner , Natalie , always kept in contact with us to make sure we were doing okay aswell as the manager . One thing about the complex was how friendly everyone was . I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a great relaxing time in Barbados and would book again! This was the best place I have stayed in so far. Beautiful Condo with a pool and jacuzzi. Inside the condo is clean and modern, furnished well with all the appliances one would need. Excellent location and easy to get to all the places we wanted to travel to. Supermarket and beaches close by and Oistins is also 5 minutes away. The owner is also helpful and pleasant. Will definitely stay here again if available on my next visit to barbados.

Pene's Place is in a very quiet location, this apartment is perfect and has everything you could possibly need, it is like going from home to home. There is a good taxi service just along the street so you can get anywhere at any time. There is a care-taker around daily who can help with any issues that may arise around the condo. The apartment is very secure. Nice pool and Jacuzzi, good aircon in the bedrooms. Very close to the airport, Oistins and St Lawrence Gap. The owner of this condo is a lovely lady who will phone you a couple of times to check you are happy with everything.

Host is great, neighbours are super friendly! Nice, clean 2-bedroom condo, we were able to accommodate a 5th person on an air mattress no problem. Looks just like the photos, tidy and has everything you need. Having the pool was great. Very short walk to a small local beach, easy 10-minute walk to larger, beautiful Maxwell beach (shared with Sandals). Amenities (just about everything... including Oistin's) a short bus ride away. It has everything you need! Also arranged a pick-up from the airport.
