My family and I stayed here for just one night before our early flight the next morning. The house was very clean and the bedrooms were nice for our family of 4 adults and 4 children. The kids enjoyed the pool and pool table. I had a couple issues with the home but nothing I felt needed attention right away since we were only there for the night. Daniel was very responsive and was made aware of the issues so he could make them right before his next guests checked in. Daniels home is only 15 minutes to airport so it was super convenient for us.

This place was chosen for its proximity to Six Flags and looked decent in the online photos. Unfortunately, our brief stay wasn’t very comfortable. The entire house smelled like potent Pine-Sol and dirty mop water. Neither the front or back door had weather stripping and did not fit well with gaps large enough to see daylight through. The queen size bed had a huge sink hole in the middle which was very uncomfortable and the twin beds weren’t much better. All night long we heard the dog outside next door barking along with sirens. For the price we paid, we expected a more comfortable and quality experience. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place and would definitely not stay here again.

The host took a while to respond and a lot of what was in the binder was not accurate like the wifi information. We also notice the front door was not secure, the lick was shaved down weird so all it would take is a swift shove and you could get inside. I stayed for a Bachelorette party with all women and we were really excited to use the pool. However, while talking late at night outside by the pool
we realized he was out walking his dog and felt a little uncomfortable. About an hour or so later we thought he went back inside but we heard a sneeze.. He had been staring and listening the whole time so we grabbed all our stuff and didn't go back outside until we checked out. The fact that we were all women made us all feel really uncomfortable with the safety at the house.

This was an amazing trip and stay. The kids loved the pool and yard to play and run in. It was really clean and cozy, had plenty of room for us! Would definitely stay here again!

The pictures don’t accurately reflect the property. Broken blinds, exposed plumbing, dirty dishes and a smelly dishwasher are a few noteworthy items.
It was unacceptable, so we left early. In exchange for not giving a bad review, the owners agreed to a full refund. 6 weeks later and hours of follow up resulted in us getting back 25%.

We had a wonderful stay at place. It was not expensive for the amount of time spent and all the amenities that were provided. Quick on and off to Lackland Base if you're here for graduation. The area around was pretty quiet. Lots of places and activities within shordrive from house.

We loved the property! My daughter and I stayed here along with her dog. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved that it had a fenced in backyard and also a separate gate for the pool. It was also close to attractions. One day during our stay, we came home and the AC was not working properly. The temperature was 90° in the house. We messaged Daniel, and he was quick to call someone out to fix the situation. We really appreciated the good communication and felt like he was genuinely concerned. He told us there were fans in every closet, so we used those and cooled off in the pool until it was fixed. The pool itself could've been a little cleaner, but nothing to keep us from enjoying it. Everything else was extremely clean and they also updated the bedspreads in all the rooms which I think look better than the pictures. It is in the medical district so we heard the ambulances when we were outside, but didn't even notice them while inside. Would definitely stay here again!

Great for kids and families
This house was so perfect for our kids! It was 2 moms and 6 kids taking an end of school year/summer kick off trip, and both of us agreed, this is a great place for kiddos!
The pool table/game room was a big hit with the kids! (Except it was fairly hot in there, as they had remodeled the garage, and I’m not sure the AC worked as well there). And the moms agreed that the fenced in pool with a locking gate was awesome so the little one wouldn’t be able to get to the pool without a grown up.
The beds were comfortable, and everyone had plenty of space.
Every night, we all curled up on the enormous couch and watched a movie (Netflix, Disney+, etc on the TV).
It was about 10-15 min from sea world, which was our ultimate destination. It was a very easy drive to and from.
All in all, a great stay!

Review of Stay
The property was nice, it was an older home that did not have enough cabinet space in the kitchen. The toilet did not work the first night but it was replace the next morning which was GREAT! I'd suggest the owner purchase toilet paper holders - I know there is no space to put on the wall but a stand up holder would work great.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was easy access to the river walk, top golf, and other area attractions. Even though the weather wasn’t super warm, we could still enjoy the pool (although chilly) and deck. We would stay here again

Disappointing
I specifically booked this place because of the pool table and dart board. There was no dart board when arrived. The pool table was too wobbly to play on and almost all pool sticks were too damaged to use. Further into our stay the coffee machine didn’t work. While the place was nice, it was just falsely advertised based on the pictures. The management did their best to accommodate based on the issues but overall the experience was disappointing.

The actual condition of the property, while clean, did not match the pictures in the description. It was ok because we didn't really stay that long so we didn't really stay long enough for these deficiencies to matter all that much. I just would not have attached the price per night that this property had.

Unhappy guests
Contacted owner upon arrival and told him of some problems. Broke toilet seat, broke shelf in fridge and no light bulb in fridge. No hangers for clothes. Cockroaches. Picture on sight made it look like a in ground pool. Pool, dirty aling with deck. Overall wouldn't recommend to others. If he had called back and corrected theses issues it might be different.

Comfy, cozy stay.
While the house has its quirks, yes. But with the amount of guests in and out, it would be hard to keep it picture perfect.
We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfy, the pool was relaxing, the location was convenient, and most importantly the house was clean. We even got to see a couple young bucks in the backyard. Daniel was responsive to all our messages and provided a lovely home for our family.
I would like to suggest adding a pizza pan and or cookie sheets to the kitchen accessories and trimming the tree around the pool.

Won’t Stay Again!
Arrived to a dark colored wood deck swimming pool. Not to mention the mosquitoes that did not allow us to be outside due to the high brush surrounding the entire back yard! Restroom door to the master bedroom was more of a sliding closet door which did not shut. Walls of house have poor soundproof and could hear everything happening in every room. Not to mention the location. Cops sirens the entire night followed by neighbors asleep outiside in their front lawn drunk!!! Last straw was lights went out due to small storm. Had to vacate house at the middle of the night!🤬🤬🤬

Started off bad but owner redeemed.
First I want to say I’m giving Daniel himself a 5 star review. As he dealt with the problems we had very fast. However, I would like for this property to be fixed before it goes out to public again, thus the 2 star rating for the property (only).
When I first walked in I was a little confused as some of the appliance was different from the photos. The sofas was all old, broken and seats sunken in. The dish washer smelt like a dead rat was in there. There was towels in the dryer. The pool (my favorite part) has bird poop all over the seats and the deck. The hallway bathroom toilet only flushed by holding the lever until you see your waste go down or else it won’t flush. The hallway bathroom shower was opposite (hot was cold and cold was hot). The main bedroom bathroom shower was leaking, the water pressure sink was crazy strong. The shower had no curtains and the water leaked on to the floor. We had to use towels to cover the floor. The master bathroom door was broken. The guest bedroom had a hole in the wall and cracked doors. There is more but I’m tired of typing.
Some pros - the ac work amazing, the pool was awesome. And the owner replaces the couch within a day and gave us a new trash bin as the old one was broken. The pool table room was cool (until we realized it is a little broken and it is slanted and the pool sticks tip were all broken).
Conclusion - this property needs to just fix stuff as what is in it is fine. I have faith in the owner to get this property working nice again.

Not quite as pictured.
Overall it was a nice house, however there were a few things that could’ve been different. For starters the cleaning lady didn’t leave until 3:20 (check in was at 3:00) the pictures are a bit misleading there isn’t a nice big double door fridge, water pressure in the entire house was horrible. Pool wasn’t very clean and there was no chlorine smell at all. Pool table was off balance but over all it was nice home my kids seemed to enjoy it. Washer and dryer, clean towels, extra blankets.

Great stay, needs some updating.
Our overall stay was nice. The pool was clean and large enough to accommodate all of us (5 kids & 2 adults). The house was very clean, well stocked (dishes, towels, blankets, etc.) and close to everything. The property manager was very quick to respond to questions or concerns. The house just needs some updating. The couches weren’t comfortable since they were damaged and we couldn’t get one of the recliners to close. The only other thing were the showers. The master bath rod kept falling and the guest shower head fell when turned on. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Pool was/didn’t seem clean either way was too cold outside to enjoy it. Bring own condiments for cooking otherwise kitchen is equipped to cook, hallway restroom shower hot water turn right.. I and fam were good with this place as we used it for sleeping and a place to get organized!!

Comfy and relaxing house
Was pleasantly surprised how roomy this house was. Well maintained and perfect for relaxing...inside and out. With three nice sized bedrooms (beds comfy) and two bathrooms, we had plenty of room for three couples. Sitting out on the patio was a great way to unwind after a day downtown. Kitchen was nice and clean and had everything we needed. Daniel was great to work with and very prompt on responding. Thanks!
