Lovely characterful hotel. Good parking. Delightful and helpful staff

Location was good. Bathroom was spacious. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast was fine.

Drains smelt of sewage in bathroom. Beds were uncomfortable: the double bed was 2 singles joined together with a hump in the middle and mattresses were not supportive. None of the usb ports on the walls worked. Lift was tiny and juddery and had instructions for only 1 person at a time to enter, and didn't inspire confidence. Lots of tiny dead flies on the high ceiling in bedroom. Kettle leaked water onto table when boiling. Parking spaces were very narrow. No safety features on windows, so had to keep them closed with young kids. Carpets and furniture in room seemed tired and in need of replacement. Overpriced at approx 230 euros per night for family room even in mid July.

Rooms were spacious and well equiped the front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly great location and one of a few hotesl with onsite parking (paid extra)

The decor is getting a little dated and room decor is rather dark and drab

I wouldn’t say “ dislike” but i think the hotel could do with a fresh lick of paint in a brighter colour as the building is looking a tad tired ! but then again this is my personal opinion and I’m sure lots of people will disagree with me lol 😂 it didn’t distract from the good overall experience of our stay in Tours and we’re sure to return for another stay 😁👍

The room was very pleasant, not at all like one of a hotel chain. The hot water, Wi-Fi, bathroom, bed were fine. I didn’t use the TV.

The coffee at breakfast was abysmal.

Great staff. Super friendly, very helpful. Spoke great English which made our stay great, as we have limited French. The hotel is old, with lots of history, but the facilities are up to date. Lovely breakfast.

The staff, especially Etienne, we’re exceptional. The couple of problems we had were dealt with quickly and effectively

The breakfast was too expensive. €49 for 3 was too much but there were plenty of cafes around for a simple croissant and drinks for a fraction of the price

Bathroom in room 327 is arranged awkwardly. Toilet is wedged between wall and shower door.

Room & bathroom were very comfortable. Staff were very helpful.

The room I booked wasn't available when we arrived & there was an additional charge of €45. An email had been sent but I hadn't seen as I was driving. Couldn't work out how to operate the shower! Staff had to show us. Also tele command needed new batteries.

We were touring about with 2 young kids. Private parking for €10 per day was nice. On top floor apartment & very comfortable. Excellent location in Tours. Quick check-in/out. Continental bfast & kids were free. No fuss ..

Hotel is very well located, walking distance to all attractions, transport and main shopping street. We really liked this hotel, room was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend.

The manager was so helpful courteous friendly and pleasant. She solved the problem right away. The lady in the breakfast room who is retiring today was super hard worker. She replenished the food all the time and breakfast was great. One item was missing is oatmeal which I enjoy so much.
