We chose this hotel for its style and facilities; we wanted some rest and relaxation so the room and spa were very appealing and did not disappoint. It is very conveniently located near the bus and train stations; great for the airport shuttle (only 20 minutes) and the sightseeing bus. Friendly staff from arrival; clean and very well presented room; great continental buffet breakfast and terrace restaurant located on the top floor with city views. Perfect for couples; we will be returning.

It is located in the centre of town adjacent to the railway station, the old port and some tourist attractions. The view of the city from the breakfast room at the last floor is breathtaking

The interior has a somewhat forlorn look, the corridors are not well illuminated, the elevator was trembling and there is no bellboy at the entrance to greet you and help you with the luggage.

Everything about this hotel is a delight - our room was gorgeous, spacious with fantastic decor and furnishings - and the bath was complete bliss, with some of the best products we have experienced in any hotel, and the loveliest, most sumptuous dressing gowns and slippers. Wish we could have stayed longer - the location, friendly and helpful staff, the spa, the breakfast.....all top-notch - and excellent value

Very nice and comfortable room which we found extremely quiet. Incredibly convenient having valet service for parking the car. All the staff were friendly, professional and really helpful. We enjoyed our one night here and will be back when we next stay in Genoa.

The phone and air conditioning didn't work and there was nothing left in the room (bowl, toy and treats) for our dog which we were told there would be, Everything was resolved satisfactorily but in a hotel of this level we were surprised ghat general checks hadn't picked up the air conditioning/phone issues.

Great location next to the central station and loved the view from the 7th floor rooftop terasse. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Room spacious enough and super nice view to the harbour.

Walls of the room too thin. You could hear the people next room taking a bath.

Staff is of great helped and welcomed us really friendly. Room was fantastic with a view over the city. The cocktail bar is great and the mixologist was fantastic. One of the best old fashioned I've had. The spa is also fantastic

It's next to the main train station, but there is no traffic noise once inside. The roof top terrace was a bonus on warm days, somewhere to sit in the sun and there were two hot tubs. The breakfast room is large and the choice of dishes extensive, from cooked food to homemade cakes. We were able to check in early. They served crisps and focaccia with drinks in the bar.

beautiful hotel right beside the train station and short walk to port and old town. nice chilled atmosphere in this area. breakfast was excellent. bar staff and staff in general were very accommodating and friendly.

The fact that the staff was amazing and allow us a late check out to be able to stay to the jacuzzi, the buzz from 7 floor, the minibar also was really good. The quality of the service and the decoration of the hotel deserve 5 stars. 100% recommended. the room and shower was really good

The hotel was beautiful and the room very comfortable. We also visited the spa, which was a wonderful end to our stay in Italy! Since we arrived and left by train, the location was very convenient.

The breakfast room got a bit crowded, but this was perhaps because of Easter holidays and many families staying in the hotel. The breakfast itself was nice though. The station area is not the nicest, but we did not feel unsafe.

Beautiful building, foyer, piano bar. Really nice first impression. The breakfast was great. Plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and really helpful. Location ideal. Rooms were well equipped; slippers, robe, mini bar etc. Ticks a lot of boxes but there is room for improvement.

As other reviews point out, the hotel is dated in parts. The bedroom was disappointing after the great first impression on arrival. New curtains and soft furnishings in the bedrooms and dining room would go a very long way in giving the place a much more luxurious feel. More 4 stars than 5 in my opinion but in saying that it seemed like the top end of hotels the city so we were happy we chose to stay here and would definitely stay again.
